Awesome quality and value for money. It fits nicely onto my combat suspenders and seems well made. It can be worn independently over the shoulder using the included strap or easily clipped onto combat suspenders

The straps are ridiculously short. I’m 6’ and relatively slim and with straps at full extent, they barely stretched round one shoulder! Incidentally, I note there are other reviews mentioning the other longer strap being attached at bottom- that’s NOT a shoulder strap, it’s a waist strap as the GIs had at the time. Incidentally, the bag itself is cheap rubbish, too. Not worth the money at all.

What a great bag! The two inside pockets make organizing easy. And plenty of space in the main pocket. Not sure what to use the two outside snap closure pockets for, but... Good to see the waist strap is included which keeps the back pack in place while moving quickly. Taped seams area nice touch. Shows pride in workmanship. Letting it hang outside to give it some character. Overall, best bag ever.

Has separators inside the main bag, one small in the outside, and one where it would be on your back. Love the look and pockets which is why I chose this one. But like people say the shoulder straps are very small and not comfortable. But it is supposed to be a ww2 haversack. Tho I have a real British military one, this seems a lot thinner but I do not have a us one to compare.

I returned it because the straps are really short. I was looking for a canvas backpack, and this wasn't it. The bag was very swell made of heavy canvas with heavy duty metal fittings. I loved the bag, but it just wasn't what I was looking for.
