This is a remarkable fan and it far surpasses my expectations. I did expect less, I have to be honest. That's despite the really positive reviews! Mainly because as far as I was concerned, anything that simply pushes the air around just creates a breeze. By experience, the bigger fans just create a bigger breeze, and although table top fans can be pretty good we hadn't yet found one of any size that had blown our minds on performance. But as this fan has a couple of hundred reviews on Amazon and very few negative criticisms I bought it and I really hoped that this would indeed be a bit more special than an ordinary table fan. The first thing we realised when we got this was that this creates a really cold and intense blast of air. They aren't kidding when they use the word 'turbo' because It far out-performs our massive floor standing fan! It had been a really warm day when we unboxed this and the evening was cooling down fast, so I will even say that the cool air that hit me was slightly unpleasant as well as being a bit of a shock. We have a seriously hot house as soon as the weather improves with the summers being very uncomfortable and summer nights impossibly hot (our upstairs rooms don't ventilate too well). So this has been used already in the bedroom and I could really do with another one downstairs - but as the fan is small enough and light enough (2.1kg) to easily move from room to room it's no big deal. Also the size makes it easy to find a spot to place it, and if you're lucky enough to have a power supply within 1.5m of a window I suspect that this is going to be a game changer for circulating fresh air into the room. The settings are impressive and cover side-to-side (70° to each side) and up-and-down (up to 90°) oscillations as well as the three modes (normal, eco and also the quiet sleep mode) and four different speeds. Between that little lot, there's a good choice. So the manufacturer has also added a timer of up to 12 hours to that (in one hour increments). Which is great at this time of year where the bedroom doesn't need cooling all night, but you'd like to drift off to sleep with the fan running. The panel is touch sensitive and is actually very simple to operate with six touch buttons which are self explanatory by their symbols. If you're feeling too lazy to get up or you're settled in bed, the remote will do the same functions. A final attention to detail is the magnetic remote holder on the side of the fan (nifty)! There's also a display to show speed (1-4) and SL for sleep mode. In eco mode, the fan possesses intelligence that can detect the ambient room temperature and adjusts the speed appropriately. There's a chart in the well written instructions which explains the temperature:speed settings, so that the user can adjust an appropriate speed under normal mode. Turbo speed has cooled our whole room completely in just a few minutes. In terms of sound, it's also every bit as quiet as they state. It's worth mentioning here that keeping the blades dust free is paramount to stopping any noise (dust imbalances the blades), and the manufacturer has designed this well - so opening the cage to service the blades is an easy enough job. Doing this is well explained in the manual too. I know that the price label doesn't make this cheap, but you seriously get what you pay for with this fan and it's a great investment if you can't bear being too hot.

Ok so let me start by saying I do not write reviews but as I buy a lot on amazon and rely on the reviews a lot I felt I needed to write this to help people avoid making the mistake of choosing a fan based on price alone , basically if you want a fan that is going to have an impact on how you are feeling when our lovely British weather throws a scorcher at us then this WILL make a difference, like so many other reviews on here I was so impressed with how powerful this is but at the same time does not stop me watching tv because the fan is too loud or stops me sleeping because it’s too noisy, it really does pack a punch on full power and if ur busy and got a bit of a sweat on and need some immediate relief sit in front of this on full power and it’s like heaven, yes it does lots of fancy stuff like goes up and down as well as side to side at the same time and really does circulate a whole room of air as well as having the great sleep button and the nature option is great as it surprises you with a big gust of wind every now and then but all that aside if you want a fan that will provide relief with a very low noise level then this is the fan for you, I have had the fan a couple of weeks and I love it and at 44 years of age I’ve been through my fair share of hot British summers and crap fans that sound like a tornado but have the power of a fart so I feel able to give this review with good insight, yes it’s expensive for a fan but honestly you get what you pay for, the design is great and it really does what is says so if you are trying to decide if this is worth the money I can assure you it really is, I bought this fan based on the reviews and I’m so glad I did, ok sorry for the long review but it’s the hottest uk July day ever and my brain is a little frazzled so I’m off to sit in front of my very cool fan 😎

Bought this drunk last summer. So happy I did. Awesome fan. Quiet if you want it in sleep mode. Very powerful. Will buy again if something happens to it. Easy to use. Remote is brilliant. Best fan ever.

Satisfied with my purchase. Reasonably priced with reduction, although probably not real value for money without. Item was as described, was packaged well and arrived on time. A tad bigger and bulkier than expected and although space wasn’t really an issue for me it might be for someone else. It was efficient in cooling me down if I sat reasonably close by, although it didn’t cool down the entire space of my relatively small room. But there again, it’s an oscillating fan and not an air-con unit so it’s unrealistic to expect it to do so. I liked the choice of fan speed and direction, and the ease of operating either manually or by remote. The instruction manual was decent, being simple and easy to understand. Most of all, I appreciated the quietness of operation. Unlike older fans of mine, this one was just a quiet background hum without all the clunking, grinding and sqeaking. What a relief! All in all a satisfactory purchase, so much so that I bought two more for other rooms.

With working from home *as so many of have been doing", when the hot weather arrived and it reached 32oC in my study, I wanted a fan!! After looking at options and reading reviews I went for yhe MYCARBON deak fan. It is an excellent fan. Much quieter than previous fans I've used (but not silent), and it has good bells and whistles - rotates side to side and up and down; it has a remote; tells you the temperature; has a sleep mode... but it is the fan itself that makes this such a good buy. My previous desk fans only moved the air so you could feel it a couple of feet away, but this fan, even on the lowest setting, can be felt the full length of my study (ok it is a small room). It was so good qe got another one for the bedroom. It's compact size means and the power of the fan means you can put it anywhere in the room and you feel its effects. It is quite expensive, but you do get what you pay for.

Only just got this & tried it out, but after buying many expensive (and bulky) fans in the past, included overly-priced well known brands (I’ve tried 8 totally different fans now as my house gets very hot) this is BY FAR the most effective fan I’ve ever had. The force of the air is extremely effective at having a cooling effect (despite no fan ever being an air conditioner to blow cold air). The noise is absolutely minimal. I could easily watch tv on the highest level without it being a nuisance. I have trouble sleeping but even on sleep-mode it’s so quiet (while still being effective) that it won’t be an issue like other fans. It oscilates left to right AND up and down so you can have it moving permanently or find the exact/ perfect position for it to blow air directly onto you continuously. It can’t use that much electricity as my real-time smart meter doesn’t even go up by a penny an hour when it’s on. If you want a fan that REALLY WORKS and does the job, and quietly too, this is it. I’m so glad I bought it. It’s in a league of its own. Nothing compares to this - and it’s fairly compact too. I can’t comment on longevity but I’ll hope that it doesn’t break any time soon & will update this review if it does.

Firstly it is SO quiet - not silent, but definitely quiet and 'sleepthroughable'. Even at it's highest speed (4) it's ignorable and it REALLY shifts air at that speed. The air flow is VERY 'tight' and 'focused' so even at the lowest speed you can feel the air flow 3m away if you're directly in its path. Because it is so focused I find I use the oscillation function most of the time. The oscillation function - horizontal and vertical - is excellent. It really circulates throughout a room, right into the corners. The Eco mode is wonderful, reducing the fan speed as the room cools - Sleep mode is very quiet - and there's a timer. You can turn off the display and beep on the unit so you don't disturb your partner when you adjust it. It's very compact and stable, more traditional fans have most of the wight in the motor, so they are top-heavy. AND it arrives assembled. The manual is quite good, though written by someone who clearly doesn't have English as their first language - so some of it is amusingly quaint, and some bits need a couple of reads to understand. However... I do wish the power cord were longer, it's about 1.5m long, 2-3m would be better. While the magnetic remote is a neat idea (so it has somewhere to live when not in use) it's not very strong, and falls off easily. I'll probably replace it with some Velcro. But this is nitpicking compared to fact that this quiet, powerful, compact and attractive fan just sits in a corner and gets on with cooling the WHOLE room.

I am busy, so don't always write reviews, but felt I needed to with this product. It is more expensive than some other fans that I found on Amazon, but the existing reviews made me think it might be worth getting. I was impressed as soon as I unpacked it, because it is a sturdy and well built piece of equipment. Simple design makes it much more attractive than a lot of fans. The remote is a very good feature too. I wanted it to keep my cool at night and one of my concerns was how loud it is. I am happy to report that it is incredibly quiet on its lowest setting and to feel a pleasant, cool breeze at night, that is all it needs. It provides a very impressive breeze on its higher settings. The fact that it will oscillate, not only side to side, but also up and down, is something I haven't seen before and makes it much more versatile. It even gives a read out of the temperature of the room, which is useful. I was a bit concerned when I saw how bright the light is on the base, but as soon as you use the sleep function, it dims this right down. I am happy to recommend this product to anyone who wants a well-made, electric fan to keep them cool during the day and in particular, when looking for a fan that is efficient, but also very quiet, to use at night.

Llegó un día antes de lo previsto. Bien. Lo fui a probar y me llevé un disgusto. La clavija del enchufe no me sirve en casa, esta tiene 3 patillas cuadradas, no dos y redondas como sería lo normal, (el ventilador que adquirí en Julio y este se suponía eran iguales) . El otro fenomenal, este no lo puedo enchufar en ningún sitio. Ya me puse en contacto con el vendedor y estoy esperando respuesta. Lo tendré que devolver. Ya me dirán cómo debo hacerlo. Lo siento.

Ho messo una stella perché non si può vendere in Italia un prodotto con una spina non compatibile con le prese italiane. Cambiando la presa sarebbe automaticamente decaduta la garanzia. Per questo l'ho restituito

Funciona perfectamente hay una pega el enchufe de red es del Reino Unido, o compras un adaptador o lo cortas y colocas uno de España con lo que igual pierdes la garantía.
