Chef'n GarlicCone Garlic Roller, One, White

I ordered this garlic press to replace the one I had for years by the same company. The original one finally broke after years of pretty constant use so I was excited to be able to replace it. This one is next to impossible to use as the bottom section which should cut away the pressed garlic covers a portion of the holes so it gets pretty messy and it's difficult to clean if there are still cloves in the chamber. Does not twist very easily either which makes mincing the cloves hard as well. Too bad as the original chef'n product was so easy to use.

We love this garlic peeler. We have tried other products, but this one works. I generally cut the cloves off from the bulb and also remove the loose garlic peels. I put 2 or 3 cloves of approximately the same size in and rotate the lid. I do several and put them in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. I haven't kept the peeled garlic for a long period of time. We use the garlic frequently. I don't know that I would do an entire bulb at a time depending on how often I would need it. We used to buy the peeled garlic in a jar from the grocery store. Although they were convenient, they would mold.This garlic peeler comes completely apart and is easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

I was looking for a replacement for my Turn-It garlic press when Amazon recommended this product, which looks to be about the same. It isn't. In fact, they managed to get wrong just about every feature that makes the Turn-It great.First, the pitch on the screw is too narrow, which means that once you stuff the tube with garlic, you're turning 30-40 revolutions (I counted) to get the crushed garlic out. Very tedious and annoying. Next, one of the central features is that you can store remaining garlic in the fridge, however you can only load this press from the bottom, so if you want to add a clove or two after it's been used, you have to back the screw out and push the remaining compacted garlic back up the tube to get more in, which can get messy. The attached bottom cap, which ostensibly will slice off the remaining crushed garlic, has too loose a tolerance, being plastic, so unless you carefully apply upward pressure (in which case it cuts clean), you get messy residue that has to be cleaned up before storing. Also, you can only really open the cap by turning counter-clockwise, because it snaps into the closed position and if you try to open it in a clockwise direction, you unscrew the entire piece instead of opening it.I'm throwing this product away (I wish I had kept the packaging to return it...). This is a real time and effort saver. To be effective, it can really only handle one clove at a time. And you have to empty it every 1-2 cloves or it stops working. The cone keeps the garlic skins contained for the most part so it doesn’t make a mess. And it can be turned inside out for cleaning. I’m very happy with the cone garlic roller and I recommend it highly.

I never heard about Garlic Rollers, but I'm so glad my SO bought one for our kitchen. I've enjoyed the ease and cleanliness of using this so much, I ordered one to be sent to my parent's house so my mom can enjoy it too.It makes peeling garlic fast and my hands don't end up smelling like the stuff all day.

I have used this product for years, and recommend it highly. I have had surgery on my right hand and have lost some strength in that hand. Therefore, I cannot use a traditional garlic press. I am so fortunate that I found this product which does the job perfectly. Some people complain it is difficult to remove the press head located inside the cylinder. I recommend using a chopstick to push it out. I cannot comment on the newer model, since my original model continues to work fine ( I have had it for years and use it often).

Since I use garlic on a regular basis, I purchased this one and the silicone tube garlic peeler to see which one works best. The silicone tube product worked the best and was easy to use. This product was not as easy to use and had more mess to deal with. Save some money and go with the silicone tube. Many different companies produce it and I'm sure you can't go wrong.

I definitely would recommend this garlic press to anyone who uses garlic all the time. I love that it does (like my older one) store the unused portions with ease. I wish it where larger in size to I could store more garlic in it for my daily use and that is the only thing I would say could be better. It is made of good quality, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to keep in Fridge without anything drying up inside. Other then that, its just great. I did not even think that I could replace the one I gave to my daughter and I missed that one so much. BUT searching on amazon I found this one and I am glad. I recommend this especially for older people who still enjoy cooking.

I bought this garlic as a present and a 2nd one at my caravan. I absolutely love it! Have been searching for one for quite a while as I couldn't remember where I bought mine from. Highly recommend.

As above not too much to say about this product, it does an adequate job.

The two new garlic presses supplied are not the same as the ones advertised in the pictures. The handle is different it has two arms instead of the one sturdy solid bar across the top which I think would be much easier to handle and turn.
