Does it come with a filter basket?

It comes with the basket you insert the coffee grinds into....you can buy paper filters to put inside but I do not use those....I do not see a need for that. Basically it comes with everything you need but the coffee. :)

Can you see the coffee jumping up and down in the top?

I already responded "yes" you can see it jumping up and down in the top. However, the coffee leaks from around the see-through bubble, and runs down the top and side of the pot. FYI. I mailed mine back for refund.

How long is the cord?

The cord is pretty common. I used a computer power cord on mine. You can find one up to at least 5 ft online.

Does this have a see-through tube on the outside to see the level of the water

Yes, it does. I bought two of these pots. One for the farm and one for the city. Never had any trouble with either one of them. The water level indicator is on the inside and also the outside. There is a tube that might be missed on the side where the handle is located. There is a floating red indicator ball in the tube that will indicate the water level for you.
