Propane Rock Crawler Tank Bracket Forklift Heavy Duty

Strong, and fit bbq grill size diameter tanks nicely
These brackets are too of the line in my opinion. They are strong. I used them on 2 30 lb. Horizontal propane tanks it appears my tanks are the same diameter as a 20 lb. Bbq propane tank but mine are laying down that's why I got these brackets I included a photo hopefully you can see what I did to put them in. I used some plastic I cut out of joint compound bucket 🪣 to isolate the tank from the clamps so it doesn't scratch my tanks going in because I have to slide them into the compartment I made on my skoolie. I heated the plastic with a heat gun to it was moldable then I squished it around the clamp on 2" wide strips in four different locations around the clamp I also cut the pin down that holds the tank in place because it was way too tall and was going to really damage the tank when sliding it in. These clamps are made for an open top scenario but if ya get creative you can use them anywhere. They are really sturdy and my tanks won't be moving at all.

Very solid construction and simple, rugged materials
Like so many others, I love this product. It is far more solidly built than what is required and that's a good thing. I would like to pass on a few details that didn't really stand out to me before I bought this so future buyers will be aware. There are two brackets and they are NOT identical. One has the mounting foot bent to the right and the other is bent to the left. This makes hiding the mount bolts behind the bracket really easy by simply placing them with the bent mounting tabs facing each other. Each bracket is drilled and tapped to bolt on the locating pin assembly so you can mount it to either side as needed for left or right facing tank. However, those holes are drilled in a position that assumes you are mounting this on top of a level surface such as a truck bed or forklift engine cover. If you bolt them to a vertical or sloped surface, you have a few options: Drill and tap your own holes, weld the pin at the correct angle, or don't use it. The hinge point for the clamp is positioned well beyond the 90 degree point, which means that when it's mounted to a vertical surface there is a cradle to hold the tank while you close the clamps. The distance from the mounting surface tabs to the inner loop surface is right at 2 inches. This means your tank will have exactly 2 inches of clearance from a flat mounting surface. I saw in one of the question/answer spots someone said it was about 4 inches. That's way overestimated. The attached photo shows them mounted to the back of a commercial zero-turn mower.

I've been looking for these
Great product especially for the price. I just installed these on an open landscape style trailer. I think one set is intended to hold one tank horizontally. I used two sets to hold 4 20lb tanks in place during transport. Way beefier than I expected which is a good thing. Very simple design, not much to break. If the hinge would ever break it would be an easy fix for any handyman. The bracket was a tad too tight to slide a 20 lb tank into easily right out of the box. After a few pushes with my foot was able to loosen it up perfectly. Tank slide right in. Clamps down tight. The clamps do not lock in, but if it is clamped properly they're not coming open on their own.

Very Heavy Duty Brackets
I used this bracket set (2 brackets plus other ancillary hardware) to mount a 40# propane tank that feeds a patio heater to a wall in my outdoor patio, to prevent the wind from toppling it (as happened when I was on vacation and a sudden severe storm moved through the neighborhood, shudder for what disaster could have happened!)The brackets are very heavy duty and sturdy, and I'm sure that my propane tank will no longer be subject to toppling due to high winds.Note that no user instructions were provided. It took me a minute to figure out how to properly assemble the screw-type latches, but that was not very difficult. Also I received these brackets in just two days from the Seller using their std. shipping method (i.e., not via Amazon Prime as I am a Prime member but Prime shipping was not available), for which I was very thankful.All-in-all I'm very satisfied with this purchase and the speedy shipping provided by the Seller.

Great for 20lb propane bottles
Prices for these have gone up. I only paid $49 for them in 2020. I used it to hold my 20lb propane bottle on the side of my trailer. Worked great but I did add a safety cable just in case

Good and good
Wasn’t sure, received it. Now I am sure, this has good quality and thick gauge steel. Good and good.

Solid bracket, easy installation, works like a champ.
The whole kit and kaboodle is just what we needed to make our forklift legal again. We have a forklift made in the stone age, and her tank certification ran out (apparently years ago before we even bought the forklift) and needed to be replaced. Problem was, I didn't have any way of finding an authentic replacement for a flat-style tank developed specially for Hyster lifts. I picked up this pair, and within 10 minutes and a couple of bolts and washers, the truck was back in action, ready to take on our warehouse tasks... legally!Good, solid pair, easy mounting, everything is included but be sure you get the right size mounting hardware if you use something different than what is included. Does what it's supposed to do.
