Great variety of colors, really stand up to kid wear and tear!
There are always certain things in a household that the gremlins like. You know, like chapstick, pens, nail clippers and hairbrushes. Whenever you need one, it's not there. Well, being a homeschooling family, it seems rulers are the kid's pet gremlin's favorite item. I bought wood ones and they would pick out the sharp edge and then it was dangerous (especially with boys in the house! LOL). I had plasticy ones but they would always bend them to unusability. So then I saw some flexible ones at Wal-mart and they lasted MUCH longer, which is apparently why I could never find more than one on the shelf at a time. So of course I look up on Amazon and see a whole set of 24! Finally! And in a variety of colors that they can each have their own color to par! Yay!When the rulers arrived there was much excitement in our house (maybe we need to get out more?) and I was happy to see that were in fact BETTER quality than the flexible ones sold at Wal-mart. After a month of homeschooling, every single one of them is still in great shape and the kids never come back to me with excuses as to why their math page isn't done. One happy mama over here! Highly recommend them!

well... they are rulers, so they do the job
I couldn't tell by the description if these were exactly what I was looking for, but they are just what I wanted. A great price to stock my classroom. They are made out of "jelly" plastic (not sure of the name, not exactly silicone but similar) and are stiff enough to not droop but bendy and flexible so it's impossible to break them unless you use scissors or a knife. The colors I received were very bright, almost neon, and I didn't get any gray ones--just pink, orange, yellow, bright green, bright blue, and purple. For the price and quality, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Great flexible rulers.
As a middle school teacher working mostly with students that come from low income families I try and provide much of our supplies in a cost effective manner. These rulers allow for straight edges and are very sturdy. They do have a bit of a strange smell at first as they are tightly packaged, but after unwrapping them and leaving them out for a bit the smell went away. I will buy these again if I find myself in need of new rulers.

These are good rulers as far as being indestructible
These are good rulers as far as being indestructible. They are not transparent - they are a solid color and the purple color is slightly heard to read. This bend and twist so if your bigger concern is breaking then these are a good product - you would need to cut these with some serious scissors to 'break' them.

Great Rulers for my Class
Bought these for my 7th grade classes because the ones I got before all broke. Kids love them and they aren't getting broken. have had some kids try to hit each other with them (Yay 7th Grade) because of their flexibility but after the first attempt they have stopped.

Not translucent.
Decent rulers but they were not translucent as described, which was pretty important to my decision to get them for my art classroom.

These things are just awesome!! Who knew they made rulers that bent ...
Flexible is right! These things are just awesome!! Who knew they made rulers that bent and can't break? Where were these when I was a kid?! Of course you need more than one color. In this day in age, variety is a must. These babies come in, count 'em, SIX different colors. That's like having more choices of which color ruler you want than items on the dollar menu at McD's. You can even label these bad boys with your name or whatever. You know, sticky fingers and all. Well these just measured up to my expectations!! (See what I did there?!)Okay, seriously...I teach math and these are great. I numbered them and then used clear nail polish over the top to prevent the Sharpie from wearing off. #teacherhack
