Could this be the reason the scent is almost non existent? Is the warmer defective?** A: If it's hot enough to melt your wax it should be warm enough for a scent throw. Are you using cheap wax melts? The warmer should not get hot on the outside, just warm. Also the mini warmer won't scent throw very far, maybe a few feet because you're using less wax. Other than that I would check either manufacturer **Q: How long does it take for wax to start melting?** A: 1.5-2hrs in ceramic dish and will not melt in silicone dish **Q: I have 2 of these awesome little warmers. Works great however on 1 the light blinks continuously and the other 1 the light stays on.** A: You probably have a malfunction in that one that blinks continuously. My new warmer has a light that stays on until unplugged. **Q: This stopped working - just purchased in May. Can you help?** A: Check the USB port and maybe try a different cord. The silicone insert works perfectly. I just turn it off (my large one) or unplug the USB cord (my small ones), wait for them to harden, usually overnight and if I want to change scents you just pop the wax right out. Very easy, no mess at all. The wax comes out in a nice clean piece. Then I just put it in a sandwich baby and label the scent on it. If you love wax melts you'll love this. This one was the perfect size and I love the removable silicone dish. That truly makes cleanup very simple, and I love that. My two issues are that it's difficult to get the micro USB plug into the port in the back and that it doesn't heat evenly/adequately. I find myself having to rotate the tray to get my wax cube to melt, and even then it's hit or miss. I find sometimes I'll come back to find the wax in the silicone dish has hardened almost completely across the top, which makes me concerned that it isn't operating on a consistent current. I have tried three different brands of wax cubes to test it out with no success.
