NLS has the highest quality ingredients, however my fish will not forge this food if it falls to the gravel. All other food will be forged by my fish, but this food (if it falls to the gravel) will be completely ignored. Thus, it causes waste and pollution in the tank.

This latest "Natural" update to the original NLS cichlid formula is not the same size, although it states 1mm -1.5mm. The original formula's 1mm pieces are much larger.This product is about 1/3rd that size. Suitable for fry but not for adults.

So tiny only good for very small or baby cichlids.

The media could not be loaded.  Only one fish will eat it! Spoiled fish, all good

For the price, you can’t beat it. I bought this for my 75g American cichlid tank with a convict cichlid, fire mouth, and jewel. I struggled to find sinking pellets that were small enough for my young jewel cichlid to eat and this did the trick. For reference, I also give it to my quarter sized angelfish and it’s small enough for them to eat.Pros:- Price (I bought this for about 8 dollars. While it’s not the biggest bottle, if I had bought anything bigger my fish would probably outgrow it before it was finished- Sinking (I’ve had problems with other sinking pellets where they will stay on the top of the water unless disturbed, or even float. These pellets sink fast enough for all inhabitants of my tanks to get a piece.)- Doesn’t cloud my water- My Fish readily eat itCons:- Fish wait for it to soften (If my cichlids try to eat it in the first few seconds they’ll spit it out before trying to eat it again. I could stop this by pre-soaking the pellets in tank water before feeding time but usually don’t)- Smelly (if you stand over the open bottle it really does stink, but that’s just fish food for you. Usually the smellier the food the more the fish seem to like it.)
