Insignia 7" Widescreen LCD Digital Photo Frame - Black

I bought this item for a gift for my parents. My mother has quite a few photo frames around the house, along with countless photo albums scattered across various parts of her and my father's bedroom. I decided to get them a digital photo frame to display in a main part of the house, along with a 4GB SD card to load up with photos. I got a bunch of family photos from my Aunt (On my mother's side) that my mother had long forgotten until she saw them. I thought she was going to cry. And then I got a few family photos from another Aunt (On my father's side) that my father had never even seen before. The digital photo frame brought a smile to both of their faces. It didn't have any static-lines on the LCD, it had a small tray to hold the remote in on the back of the digital photo frame, and the photos looked absolutely lovely. Wonderful product, and definitely happy about my purchase :)

Great for the price. Quality good. Easy to use (gave it to my mother-in-law who now knows how to use it herself). A little shotty when it comes to ratio, though... if you have lots of pics in different layouts (horizontal and vertical), this one might struggle to figure out ratios and I don't remember that it did it automatically - i think i had to set it up in the computer first. Other than that, makes a nice affordable gift for someone who really just wants to rotate framed pictures more easily.

Remote didn't work. Massively inferior to the one I have. Randomization clumped horribly. Transitions were slow. It seems impossible to get a high quality full featured digital frame for a reasonable price.

The remote battery was dead and the frame was unresponsive to any control until I replaced the battery. Storage capacity is meager.

Great digital photo frame. Uses standard SD card so you can store hundreds of photos. Picture is very clear and can be viewed easily from an angle. Pictures are not fuzzy or blurry.

The recipient of this gift told me it would only turn on occasionally. The remote didn't work. Now the unit has stopped functioning. I emailed the seller, no response. Would not buy again. Wasted money.
