I have had this item before & wore it out.It was great to find this item again.I works very well & certainly helps keep the recordfrom collecting dust.

Nice Hi-Fi LP mat when coupled with silicon pad underneath
I'm not using this mat to do DJ record "slipping". It's being used with a metal LP platter on a Stanton turntable for a home hifi system. Since I didn't want this mat to slip (just need it to cushion and reduce static), I placed a thin, round, silicon 12" pad underneath it. Silicon pads are used on the rotating glass of microwaves to catch spills. I got my silicon microwave pad from Amazon (Progressive International Silicone 12 Inch Diameter Microwave Mat). It cost about $8.With the 12" silicon pad underneath this wool-like pad the results were very good for home hi-fi use. I like it better than the typical thick rubber LP pads. Only thing I didn't like was the cheesy looking strobe label that is in the center of this slip pad. It looks cheap. I turned the pad over so that the label wouldn't be seen.

So this is a disappointment.
Made out of felt, it is not entirely anti-static. So this is a disappointment.

Junk.
I fell for the photos and bought two of these very flimsy mats...thin, cheesy material and a very cheap adhesive-backed paper "strobe" disc with wrinkles. Save your money on these. Not worth half the price.

Crap sound quality
Crappiest sound quality ever.

Hate Static!
This pad will eliminate that static we hate when enjoying our records. Works great and was delivered quickly and very much worth the price! Highly recommend!

I can't fault the product
As many people have said it does leave fibers all over. However I'm sure people have provided work arounds for that. My issue is that it lifted my record to the point that when the record ended my needle slid across the entire record which is not good. A work around could be to manually pick up the tone arm after the last song but thats impractical to do every time, at least for me.

It's ok
Works as well as expected. Tried to shake the mat but still collected quite a bit of dust on the needle.
