Smart Media Desk Dark Pink Computer and Tablet LapDesk

This was the perfect lap desk for me. It is very light so it can sit in my lap for hours without feeling heavy or uncomfortable.The notch at the top fits my Kindle fire 7" inch perfectly without obscuring any buttons or the edge of the screen. It also accommodates my 11'inch laptop perfectly too with room for a mouse attached.The wrist rests are well placed and very comfortable.I saw where another reviewer said the wrist rests on hers were not properly attached, but they are on mine. So much so I doubt I could remove them if I tried.The bean bag style padding underneath is filled just the right amount to be well padded without being so poofy it refuses to sit level. I love the vibrant pink color. The non-slip pad for cell phone use is a nice touch too. Five out of five. Would definitely buy again.I received no discount in exchange for this review. I LOVE it!! It's exactly like the 20-something year old one that I finally had to toss. But this one is even better because it's mostly made for laptop computers, tablets, etc. so it's bigger, rounded & has a non-skid square piece on the right side (small) that keeps my cell phone from sliding everywhere. I use it for those things but mostly I use it for my recliner when I eat in front of the tv. It's comfy as the bottom has the small "beads" of styrofoam underneath it. It's also pink (1 of the colors), it's my fav color! :) It is good for all kinds of things done in your lap & I put my book on it when I'm reading & it's great!ADDED NOTE:There's a place @ the top of this lap desk where u can put pens, a tablet, etc. I've found this go be another positive thing, along with padded wrist pieces @ the bottom for when you're typing, or really doing anything where ur wrists might be & they're so comfy! This has been a lifesaver for me. I sit up in my bed often to do my homework and my putting my macbook directly on my lap just wasn't cutting it. This solved that problem. The only thing that I don't like is that it's not wide enough left to right and the mouse that I use doesn't seem to respond as well on that built-in black mouse pad. So I have to scoot my mac over to the left and place the mouse directly on the pink plastic. Not a big deal but would have liked it to be wider and to eliminate the mouse pad.

This lap desk is great! It is comfortable, and it keeps my laptop in place. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the laptop slides off very easily if tilted any which way. But other than that, great. The phone pad is also really useful, but when using a 13" MacBook Air, don't expect your phone to fit fully on the pad, because the laptop will overlap the pad a bit.

Bought it for my wife's macbook. It turned out to be a bit too small for it.The build quality on this lap desk is good. Just keep an eye on the size and make sure it's right for you.We'll be keeping it for when she switches to a smaller macbook air or for use with a tablet later on.

My kids liked this smart desk a lot. Very practical and convenient. The size was just right, not too big or too little. Just wish the bean portion was glued a little better so that the beans didn't fall out as easy.

This is a great little desk, but not as sturdy as I thought it might be. The bottom cushion is filled with little beads (Styrofoam, maybe?) and feels a little flimsy. We bought this for our 6yr old daughter, and it suits her needs.

JUST what I needed and then some. My lap desk of many years finally gave up the ghost, and I needed to replace it. . .but with what? I wanted something with color, but not what a tweenager would go for. I hesitated when I saw all the black padding and "extras," as my other lap desk was sleek and simple. My laptop stays in place thanks to the "ledge," and the wrist pads are an added comfort. It's a keeper!
