Rare Dark Red Hummingbird Trumpet Vine! HARDY! 20 seeds! HummingBirds Love It!

So, I bought these seeds over a year ago in June of 2019...I didn't get around to getting them planted until an entire year later. The seed packets were left in my car in Minnesota for the whole year, meaning they reached temps of 100+ degrees inside the car during the summer, and reached temps of -20 at times during the winter. I had forgotten about them, when cleaning out the center console I found them and decided "why not give it a try"? June of 2020 I planted them, I had yellow, red and orange trumpet vine seeds. The yellow and the red both grew quickly, and have become healthy thriving seedlings now. Only about 1/3 of the total seeds germinated - but I am certain that is not the fault of the seed or the seller, it is because I left them in the car for so long. I'm very pleasantly surprised and pleased with the seeds, I don't understand the people who can't get them to grow. I put trays with potting soil out in the garden, planted and watered them. It was truly that easy.

After about 4 weeks we did get 4 seeds out of 20 that germinated. They are slow growing but let’s see how we do.

I really was excited to get these. But, I tried in several different soil types and couldn't get them to sprout. Bummed.

They didn't grow. Very disappointed..

It's been five weeks so they are still growing.

These haven’t germinated. I read up on the plant and it appears you need to plant these in the fall so they can go through a frost in the winter. Should be explained in product description if this is true.
