(Purchased the polar bear)It seems to me, upon first impression, that this isn't something that could take the rough handling of a child without eventually ceasing to operate. Turns out I'm correct. People complain that it stops working, and I suspect those people aren't taking into consideration the fact their child probably throws, stomps, and squishes the thing to death. It's just got some little LED lights in it, which must be connected by a wire of some kind. If that wire gets damaged in any way, you can kiss your colors goodbye. So if you have a young child, don't get this for them. They WILL break it.That being said, this thing is really freaking cool, and is just absolutely awesome to add to your party room or whatever. We have it just sitting on a shelf. It turns itself off after 15 minutes, which is nice and convenient.Another thing i must note is that it is SO bright. The colors start off synchronized (all red, all green, etc..) but after a cycle or two of the colors they start to go off rhythm, creating the different colors and stuff you see in the pictures. This thing is wicked cool, and I'll probably gift one to someone soon.If you are purchasing this for a child, make sure they're old enough and responsible enough to understand that it is a somewhat fragile product that must be treated with care, and prepare them for the fact that they may one day damage the lights, and they will stop working.We shook ours around and jostled it quite a bit. It still works. Just don't go HAM on it, and it will live to see a few years I'm sure. (LED lights have a 7-10 year lifespan)Update: We've had it for over a year now, just basically sitting on a table. It is turned on and used every night, sometimes several times a night. There is nothing wrong with it, all the lights still work, and it seems to be a lasting product if you don't go tossing it around. Two thumbs up!

I bought this bear at Christmas. My daughter loves it. She plays with it everyday. Same batteries since Christmas. It lights up nicely. The bear is soft and plush. I came back to see if there were other animals offered and read the negative reviews. I have had zero problems that people have mentioned. A few mentioned the size of the bear. Yes it is small. However, all you have to do is read the dimensions and not explore the caverns of your mind and it gives the dimensions. It's really simple to find out the size of things offered on Amazon. I would recommend this product. It's cute and perfect!

My 5 year old has nightmares so we got her this nightmare bunny. Have a nightmare turn bunny on...nightmares disappear. Now I have a nightmare, the bunny stopped working. Lasted 7 months. Changed batteries a few times now dead. Ordering another now, $19 every 7 months to keep her In bed is a value for us. I say yes to this bunny hunny.

UPDATED March 2020: I bought this item for my 2 year old for Christmas. Less than 3 months later, the wire that connects the on/off switch to the battery pack came unattached and I am unable to fix it without cutting it open. Even then, there's no guarantee I could reattach it. I contacted the seller and they responded in less than 12 hours and had a new llama in the mail in the next 24 hours. Customer service gets 5 stars!Original review: So soft and cozy! Fairly large for my 2 going on 3 year old (difficult to cuddle with). Colors are bright and turn off on a time limit. Overall happy with this product. Only con is I picked this item because in the picture it had a zipper pouch for the battery pack, but when we received it, it was actually a velcro pouch. Our experience with the velcro is it starts to wear down and gets scratchy.

My daughter loved this bear. She loved that it wasn't a teddy and a polar bear instead. The lights were a surprise for her and she was very happy. She takes it in the car with her everywhere!

My daughter got this for a Christmas present. She loved it. It worked since then but suddenly last night it wouldn’t light up anymore. We even changed the batteries and nothing. 😩

I purchased one of these Llamas for my 6 year old granddaughter for a gift and once it was out of the package she carried it everwhere. The next thing I knew her 12 year old brother was asking for one for his birthday, so I bought him one and he loved it too. It is soft and cuddly and lights up in darling colors of the rainbow.

I actually both two of them so the girls won't fight each other... Nice colors and soft at the same time. Safe for the kids even for younger age.

Not recommended. This product stopped working the second night after we received it. The lights do not turn on anymore.
