Despite my best efforts, these bath squirt toys eventually get mold ...
I purchased the Munchkin Squirtin Bath Toy Barn Buddies for my 18 month old when I decided it was time to replace all of his bath toys. Despite my best efforts, these bath squirt toys eventually get mold inside them so just keep that in mind. The first time around I purchased him all bath squirt toys and now looking back that was a terrible idea, this time I'm only getting him this set of 4 along with other different types of bath toys that are much easier to keep clean. These are adorable and arrived exactly as pictured in the Amazon listing. I chose farm animals since my son knows the sound each one makes, so we can play and learn a bit. I would recommend these. I previously also had purchased the Munchkin Ocean Squirts Bath Toy 8 pack and aside from eventually growing mold inside them, they did otherwise hold up. I'm giving 5 stars because the items arrived and performed as I would expect from the Amazon listing, I've chosen not to deduct points for the mold issue because that is a well know issue for all bath squirt toys and is not in any way unique to this product or brand.

Fun toys for bathtime and in between.
I've had other munchkin squirt/bath toys for a year now, and baby loves playing with them in and out of the water. They're colorful and detailed. doesn't look or feel cheap and just the right size for him to grasp. I've read in other reviews how mold growth maybe a problem. I havent encountered that problem with any of my child's bath toys, but it's possible it varies from where you live. I usually empty the toys of any water as much as i could, then fill then with clean water and empty it again. Maybe that's what prevents mold/mildew growth, or I'm just lucky it doesnt grow in my part of the states. Just rinse after each use and dry them properly to avoid moisture being trapped inside. Stagnant water, and bacteria is what contributes to mold and mildew, so make sure to rinse the bath toys thoroughly.

Loved by Grandson and Mold under control
I gave my 1 year old grandson a set of these. He loves the crab the most. He was 12 months during the summer and each of these fit into his tiny hands. We have a Zero Depth Spash Park nearby and that was his first intro to water parks. It's not a huge place as it is made for the little ones. I grab a beach pail, threw these guys in and a few other beach type toys, and we were off to the Splash Park. SInce my grandson is 12 months, the children were asking if they could play with him (to get to the toys, lol) and my grandson isn't lingual yet and his response was he just looked at them. LOL. It was kinda funny. Just as I was about to explain how to share the toys, one boy asked him, can we ask your Mommy if we can play with your toys. LOL. I said yes and a safe, free-for-all took place. I told everyone who took a toy to keep playing near us and when they have to leave to please return them to us. My grandson kept the crap. He loves that thing and how it's eyes pop out (can't be chewed). After the little toys were passed out, there was an instant increase in the noise levels of giggles and laughing. All the children had so much fun. They also returned the toys when they were leaving (some parents returned the toys instead, lol). My grandson needs that kind of interaction with children and we can tell he was having a blast, too. by the end of the summer, He didn't know the word sharing but he had no trouble with kids running over and grabbing the toys before I told them the rules. All toys made it home by the end of the summer, too. The secret to the black mold: Take apple cider vinegar and test one of the squirts that the paint (looks like paint, but my grandson doesn't put these in his mouth) and fill it with some apple cider vinegar and shake it around. Repeat, but don't squirt it all out. If you already have mold, the children's health is more important. Through them out and for a few dollars, buy knew ones and keep on top of the cleaning. You can keep the cider vinegar in the garage if that's where all you swim gear gets dumped out when you come home and just take care of it right away. I hope this helps! If that apple cider vinegar affects the paint, cut it in half with water (1 cup water + 1 cup apple cider vinegar). That should give you enough to clean the inside.

Nice Bath Toys
My little one loves these bath toys. They're cute and very colorful. He hasn't figured out how to squirt water out of them yet, but loves it when we squirt him. As with any toy with water, I'm sure these will grow mold or mildew if water just sits in them. We haven't had this issue but I make sure to squeeze the toys after the bath to get any water out of them. I'm assuming, since it's not stated anywhere, that these are not BPA free. I wish they were as my little one loves to chew on these. If they were BPA free, I would give these 5 stars.

Cute and Fun
Those little guys make bath time lots of fun for babies. They are more than just adorable, they are little bath buddies. Being rounded off there is no danger of injury when baby chews on it. They float, squirt and dry fast. Great toy

Fun bath time toy!
Cute little animal characters, who you can fill with water in the child's tub and play with to squirt each other. Fun to play with. Made of a sturdy plastic that will last a long time. (Note: you should clean these with at least a 10% bleach water solution, (inside and out) about once every two weeks or so, to prevent mold and slime from forming inside. I let them soak for about 10 min. with the solution inside, and then squeeze it out, and rinse really well. I also allow time to dry, as well.) My grandchild loves playing with these in the tub. They can also be used with just air, to blow the air gently in their face or hair. The kids love them.

Good, Clean fun while Getting Clean!
My son loves these things and I showed them to my baby girl but she's still very young. My son wants to play with them even when he's not in the bathtub. Good suction, I think. Just squeeze out the water to prevent mold when you're done. I would recommend.
