I got this for my boyfriends birthday as he has always wanted one of these Japanese style robes.I was worried that it might be too short for him as he is 6' 2 but it actually fits really well and is long enough. The material is very light and has a slightly crisp texture. Its prefect for relaxing at home on very hot days. When we initially unboxed it I thought that it looked a little see through but this doesn't seem to be the case once hes wearing it.The obi is easily long enough, easy to adjust and holds the robe together well. It fastens with velcro so you don't need to learn how to do a fancy bow.

I have bought kimono before, so seeing the picture I ordered this.what looks a full length kimono actually turned out to be a pair of shorts, a kimono style top and VERY long belt. print is good and quality is fine, but not a kimono. I am keeping it as i will wear, also after carefully reading description and review, regardless of photo this is NOT A KIMONO, THEY are Japanese kimono STYLE PAJAMAS ! When ordering be very sure of your size and then order at least one size bigger, I usually wear large but ordered XL which JUST fit, with drawstring pants, wrap round top and belt i could have ordered XXL and got away with any excess material

I liked the look of it but was unsure what to expect; but it is really nice, to lounge around at home it; out of the packing the material is a little coarse but assume that will go with washing; and, as others have said, I'd not answer the front door in it unless you have on something underneath in the wrong light (or some may say right light) you can see through it, even though the material is quite heavy.

the fit is fine , the material is starch stiff as should be, the pouch sleeves are great and although thin,wearing of underwear as is traditional removes any see through worries, belt/sash is frustrating as single sheet instructions are japanese only, but its not rocket science and once figured is better than hand tying.

As said in previous reviews it is very see through so if u want to be naked and get caught with someone at the door I wouldn't recommend it lol. The fabric was very scratchy so my son didn't like it due to both them issues.

If your looking for something breathable and light to wear this is not the item for you. Uncomfortable and coarse sack like fabric. May be suitable for a fancy dress outfit but at that price probably not. Total waste of money and misleading product description.Save your money.

This is my third yukata, in 20 years I may add - they are hard wearing, and probably my favourite. The belt is a bit complicated at first but worth perseverance.Arigato n

Well made with good seams and perfect fit for me at 6ft 2, be aware the fabric is very thin, and the pre tied Obi with velcro is fiddlely to wrap around & look neat. Perfect for warm summer evening or hospital stay which is what I needed it for. Would give 5stars if fabric was just a little heavier
