I’m really coming to appreciate the Amazon Basics brand, and this “box spring” (should be called a “platform”, but the industry is sticking with this) is another great example of why.Well priced compared to competing products and arrived on time and in good shape. Very light materials that also felt quite sturdy (yay material science!) and high quality. Simple instructions and easy to set up, even by one person. Final result looks good and feels solid so far. Fits a queen mattress perfectly and fits within a standard metal frame snugly. Can’t really ask for more.Some tips for assembling solo:1) If you have a frame, sit the middle hinges of the first part on the frame so you can do the rest elevated.2) When doing step 2 and putting the end brackets on, grab the hand bolts from step 3 and put them in loosely to hold each corner in place as you do the rest of them. Then just tighten them in step 3.3) Step 4 was a little tricky so align both ends carefully before pushing either one into place.4) When putting in the horizontal slats on step 5) do the same as in step 4, align both ends before pushing either one fully down.6) I found the hardest solo part to be the cover in step 7. Standing the frame on its side with the zipper start/end of the cover on the top made it easier for me to get it on without help.Probably a bit easier with 2 people, but I hope these tips help if you want or need to do it solo!

Easy to assemble. Very sturdy. Love the fact it comes in a box and you can assemble. When you move disassemble and even fits in car. So it is great for a college student!

Easy to set up and works great with our mattress - very sturdy

Box spring was very easy to set up and seems durable enough . I’m using it for a guest room so it won’t be used regularly . I imagine it will be perfect for occasional use . My only complaints 1. It was missing a screw for one of the corners but I was able to scrounge up a screw to replace it . 2. I wish the slats were more secure , I feel like those could eventually pop out causing issues . Otherwise I would say this is a decent product and I would recommend

Bought this for my daughter, I put it together with her roommate. Because the metal frame is quite tight, it took a bit of hard tugging to get it together, however that that the only hard part about assembly. The instructions were fine, the cover zipped on without a problem, it's study and light. Will be much easier to disassemble and move than a normal box spring when the time comes.

This bedframe / box spring is a really good and inexpensive one compared to traditional ones. It was real easy to put together. I did make the mistake of putting it together downstairs and then it was impossible to get upstairs, I had to un-assemble it and reassemble it upstairs. I ordered the 9in, which turned out to be higher than I expected (I really need to calculate better because I am always off with everything) and now my bed is extra high. I'm 5'2, I may need a little step stool just to get into it and maybe a rail so I don't fall and kill myself, LOL :)

Pretty easy to put together. Sturdy and quiet.

I like that this boxspring ships in a smallish and easy to handle package versus a full size traditional boxspring. Also very easy to assemble and lightweight relative to its size. Feels very sturdy under the mattress and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s my second one. I also use one on my king size bed. Highly recommend.

Super easy set up. Incredibly sturdy. The pieces link together so this bad boy aint going anywhere, or break like wooden slats. And the best part-no tools required! did a king bed frame alone in less than an hour. The 1st and last slats are finicky but just be persistent. Only recommendation would be to lay the cover opened and ready underneath or you'll have to lift the unit fully assembled, cornerby corner to try and get the cover underneath.Very tight fitting but absolutely perfect!

The assembly was easy. However, I did need help putting the cover on and we still can’t zip it up all the way. I’m not sure why it needs to be so small. I understand that I need to be tight but it was a struggle.
