Fish are approximately 20cm long?** A: You fish won't have any problems with this product .. l have a various sizes of goldfish and Koi **Q: Is this food good for orfe, Rudd and sticklebacks** A: As a mixed size food, suitable for Koi and goldfish of all types, l can see no reason why it should not be beneficial to orfe and Rudd . They should take a floating food in my opinion. It's a good nutritious feed, my fish appear to like it. **Q: Is this good for indoor fancy goldfish?** A: Sorry don't know - only ever fed my goldfish in an outdoor pond. The fish love though it! **Q: Can these herons 1kg koi trio pellets be used through the winter period or should i use the herons 1kg wheat germ pellets?** A: Firstly I am not a professional koi dealer, But I would advise NOT to feed koi throughout the winter months, but if you do only feed very small amounts of wheatgerm and only on the mildest of days, when temperatures are above 10 degrees, I also advise to feed only before mid day which gives the koi time to digest the food before the temperature drops throughout the night, otherwise you are at a very high risk killing your koi, because they can’t digest food at lower temperatures which sadly will kill your koi. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressive *by T***C on 5 May 2026* Small floating pellets for every size of fish, eagerly taken soon after touching the water. They float on the surface and the fish seem to like them. They are quite a light pellet and I always wonder if they contain sufficient nutrients, however I have used them over a long period and the fish seem to be healthy and well.
