Works awesome on my Omni 210
Despite the budget friendly price tag, I found the spool gun to perform beautifully once I got my Weldpro Omni 210 correctly set. Still learning the finer points of aluminum mig but it makes respectable welds with just the basic settings on my machine. It may be the combination of spool gun and my welder, but I was impressed with it.

Great buy for the money
Wow, I didnโt expect much for a spool gun under $150.00. After about 2 adjustments on voltage and wire speed this thing laid it down nicely on 1/4โ 6061 aluminum running .035 5356 wire. For all the experts yes i know i should paused a little longer on the whips and maybe a little more heat. I mainly purchased to do repairs on horse trailers I thinl\k it will do just fine Iโm running this off of an Weld pro Omni 210 which is being powered by a Lincoln GXT250 for mobile ability.

Holy wow!!!!
I've been a professional welder for over 20 years, I have access to Miller's best welders and spoolmates at work, I'm running this on my little weldpro multi process and it honestly welds just as good as a $1500 spoolgun on a $12k welder...

Great product
Bought this for Christmas 2019, along with the welding machine, for my 17 yr old who takes welding class in high school. He uses it almost everyday and is very happy with it.

Impressive but weak.
This spool gun was recommended to me by WeldPro's Customer Service. It is a great concept, and looks impressive, but the drive motor is weak, and needs to be updated. It does work, but the Drive motor needs to be stronger.

LESS EXPENSIVE THAN ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER'S SPOOL GUN
I bought this to use on my EASTWOOD ELITE MP250i welder. It is the same spool gun that Eastwood sells , but at about half the price. came with 2 extra tips, and a 1lb spool of 4043 aluminum wire. used it to fabricate some custom brackets for light weight work light for running the overhead on diesel engines in class 8 trucks. worked very well. Only complaint I have is the feed rolls was a little difficult for me to initially get the wire through when loading the spool, but that was probably just me as I had never used aa spool gun before this. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a less expensive alternative than eastwood spool gun as it is Identical at far less money.

Worked for me
Welded up a mini jet boat and had no issues. Canโt compare to anything else those, this was my first experience

It works well, but
I have had this for about 45 days. I have ran two spools of wire through this. This welds aluminum very well. Setup is very easy. Welding with aluminum wire it like using solid core mig but it's aluminum and you will be welding at a little faster pace. We have the same one at work on a Miller welder. Clean surfaces before welding. Make sure the grou d clamp is on what you are welding for best results. Welds are strong even in 120v.
