Backgammon Set Mosaic and Carved Design - Foldable Rosewood Board - Classic Board Game - Size 20,5"

My wife bought this for my birthday gift. I have seen many backgammon sets from different countries but this is unique. It’s waight shows how dense is the wood, the hinges look like they’d made for aircraft while they’re fancy.I strongly recommend this item to backgammon lovers

i agree with other reviews that this is a beautiful board and nothing short of a family heirloom. the wood work is immaculate and highly detailed. this board was built by a master craftsman. given the size, weight, and quality of the product, the price is very reasonable.

I found the dices to be minuscule compared to the set. You can barely see the number. Is there a way you can ship larger dices. It is ridiculous to have the two dices that are hard to even did as part of this set that is of larger size

The board itself is beautify and very nicely made. I am very happy with the board itself.The accessories however (carry bag, dice and bag to house the dice/checkers/shaker cups) are all low quality and just don't do the board justice.The carry bag is loose fitting and it's just looks shoddy. There is at least 1" too large in all dimensions.The dice are just plan pathetic. If someone is willing to drop $300+ on a board, charge another $5-$10 and provide some really nice dice that match the board.The internal bag to house the checkers/dice/shaker cups was not sewn properly and is just another proof that the quality of accessories are up to the rest of the board.The checkers themselves are decent. Could have been a touch higher quality, but they are very workable and fit nicely into the scalloped edges.I WILL get many years of enjoyment out of the board, but will have to piece together some accessories to make it ideal.

The first thing to say is, OMG, this is a thing of beauty. The inlaid woodwork, everything is just lovely.The second thing to say is, it is HUGE. This is not the little Chinese-made plastic set you're probably used to. I dorownn't know where I'm going to stash this thing; it won't fit in the bin where the rest of my games are. And I'm not the type to leave a chessboard or backgammon board out someplace. But I will figure out where to keep it.A lot of other reviews have mentioned that the dice and doubling cube are tiny, and that is true; they're pretty crappy. So, I ordered regular white & brown dice and a doubling cube, as detailed in other reviews; go read them, I don't remember off-hand where I got them.Also, the dice cups are adequate, but puny. I may replace those someday, too.If you're willing to spend this much $ on a backgammon set, it is worth it.

The package arrived very tightly wrapped. Inside the bad was two wooden planks. $400 for two wooden planks in the bag.

This product is worth twice the asking price, easy. Shipping was surprisingly fast (less than a week from Slovenia). The workmanship is really good. This is not a machine-made piece. The inlay and carvings have been done by hand. This is heirloom quality. I hesitated on this purchase given the price, but having received the game and spent some time with it I have zero doubts as to whether my money was well spent.

Beautiful board and worth the money, however, it did not come with a doubling cube as advertised. I saw another review for this backgammon set and they had not received the doubling cube either. Anyone know how I can contact company to see if they will send it?
