Organic Natural Deodorant, Activated Charcoal Magnesium and Detoxifying Essential Oils, Vegan, Aluminium and Plastic Free Antiperspirant for Men and Women

I’ve been using Lowena deodorant for about a year and I just love it. It smells great, spreads easily and, most importantly, it actually works. I noticed that in the first couple of weeks after I switched from Dove stick I would feel just a bit of smell towards the end of the day, but the longer I used it for, the better it worked. Now I feel fresh and dry for the whole day. Interestingly, when the product was out of stock and I switched to Dove for a few weeks, it was an absolute disaster. I smelled just a few hours after applying it and simply felt uncomfortable. I was so happy to see Lowena back in stock. What I love the most about it (other than it works!) is that it does not stain dark clothes even if I get dressed immediately after applying it. This really is the best deodorant (not just the best natural deodorant!) that I’ve ever used and I keep recommending it to friends.

Having tried a few organic deodorant balms previously, I tend to favour this one at present. Although its more expensive than others in this size, I’ve found that this one tends to suit me. Its not harsh and doesn’t cause me any ‘sensitivity’ issues like a lot of them do. I like the fact it contains activated charcoal, which draws out toxins and helps contain sweat a bit. I’ve found that the scent, like others have mentioned, is very pleasant at first but tends to fade quite quickly, however, I added a few drops of pure organic lavender essential oil to the pot which made a difference. I’m prepared to do this as, all in all, I’ve found the various balms available all seem to have their pros and cons and this one has the best effect for me.

Despite following the application instructions the product is impossible to apply as it rolls up into a ball like substance and flakes away without sticking/ staying on the skin. Completely un-balm like, it is also granular in texture which is quite unpleasant. Having used other balms this one does not compare at all to any previous used products. Would not recommend.

I wish I could have this on subscription, when I run out it's often unavailable. It must be done in batches. It is the best deodorant I've ever had, You don't need much so it lasts surprisingly well Considering my teenagers use it and love it too! It has a pleasant mild smell that works well and stops that BO smell ALL DAY and to the next morning. It rubs off your clothes too without staining.

After reading the reviews I thought I'd give it a go, I have gone through alot of deodorants that after a while are effective. I used as directed in the morning after a shower and by the afternoon I smelt sweaty.. not even 12 hours on and I hadn't gone to a gym etc just day to day tasks. Disappointed greatly and I wish I'd saved my money and looked into better products.

I like charcoal based deodorants. I tried a few and my experience has always been positive, they are a natural product and they are effective. This deodorant by Lowena is no exception and it is indeed very natural and very effective, but I believe that it also has some extra advantages when compared to other competitors. It is made with organic ingredients, it contains magnesium (which is good for you), it is easier to apply and it has a fresh but mild fragrance that doesn't clash with your perfume. Overall a great deodorant that also comes in a plastic free recyclable packaging. I will use it regularly from now on.

This product has everything going for it, good ingredients, nice smell, easy to apply and a nice dose of magnesium to boot. Unfortunately it just does not work for me, I stink! What a shame, if you're looking for an alternative that does work try Pitrock, I've been using that successfully for years.
