Well, I needed something to lay up against the wall while sitting on my bed and this bed pillow is perfect for that. It's not the most comfortable pillow it provides good enough back support. It's not soft like an actual pillow, but it's not supposed to be. Its job is to be sturdy and still enough to support your back while sitting on the floor or your bed without falling over and it does that easily. I'm happy that I made the purchase and it's worth the money considering I use it often. It looks good too and has a soft feel to it. The pillow itself is very sturdy so it won't fall over. It has great support for my neck also without the worry of any strain or discomfort. The only dislike would be that if you sit for long, it will be a bit uncomfortable on your back, but this can be fixed by placing a soft pillow in front of it for extra comfort. I found myself having to do this frequently and this tended to fix the issue. Other than that this pillow is great for sitting in bed watching tv, reading a book, or browsing on your computer. No more sitting my back up against a hard wall or trying to stand a pillow up to lay against. This is the ultimate bed rest pillow to suit your needs.

BEST item we’ve purchased on AMAZON in 10+ years! Sturdy, comfortable, the fabric feels good against everyone’s skin in our family, so much so that looks like we’re going to buy a few more to prevent squabbles over this! Needs to be fluffed up/shaken, maybe placed in sun to aerate it after being compressed so much for shipping. We laundered (personal preference) the reversible cover (purchased the ‘Aspen’ for $20 extra to get the 2 different colors & 2 different fabric choices offered), not a customized feature, saying this so not to confuse anyone. The retail/online/big box/chain & discount stores sell numerous versions of a ‘reading/tv bed and floor pillow’. I’ve wasted $$$ over the years, buying those and even trying to ‘re-engineer’ some myself to no avail. Suggest forget/donate those, buy this one that IS quality/comfort/support and worth the extra $$; doubt you’ll regret it! UPDATE: (11/30/19) My personal preference is the ‘fiberfill’ vs the ‘memory foam’. There’s a slight difference, where the ‘memory foam’ seems perhaps best for people seeking firmer support & the ‘fiberfill’ seems like a soft/warm hug in the colder months. The Seller has been Phenomenal, going beyond anything I’ve EVER experienced (especially among an online purchase scenario), they’ve helped me find the best comfort level for my needs. And they even have an extra bag of the filling if you might need to make your pillow firmer/fuller. In a nutshell, buying this item from anyone other than THIS SELLER ‘Hit Notion’ couldn’t possibly be the best decision! During these times of the “Covid-19 Pandemic” we’ve discovered it’s FANTASTIC for relieving back/seat pain issues (for reclining chair users) due to lack of support in TODAY’S (extremely lacking in quality) FURNITURE. Sadly today’s reclining furniture (are NOTHING even semi-close to the quality/support/durability of the Lazy-Boy) no longer provide those wonderful factors as the quality of Lazy-Boy reclining furniture; therefore sitting in reclining chairs (the non Lazy-Boy types) can result in Sciatica, lower back pain, numbness & sore muscles. However, with this FANTASTIC pillow placed behind your back providing EXCELLENT support & comfort, it can turn the sub-par reclining furniture into the comfort of every Lazy-Boy we’ve owned since the mid 70’s! (1970’s that is!) Now sitting in the reclining furniture with this pillow makes it a piece of furniture in need of a sign above it warning users that the chair can easily cause users to fall asleep quickly & wake-up with no pain despite hourrrrsss of “snoozing” in the chair now! The pillow looks nice and function very nicely. I may order a bit more stuffing. Its very cold right now and I will wait to see if the pillow settles. My one and only issue is with the smell. I have an acute sense of smell and it has take may days to tone down the chemical smell of the foam. I have washed the cover and hung it outside. I have let the pillow without cover site outside in sun several days and still the chemical smell is there. My sister is not bothered by it, but I will try to put it in the dryer with dryer sheet next hoping to kill the chemical smell. Hopefully that will work and as I said previously the pillow performance is excellent.

First, let me apologize / explain the large patch sign on it/ explain - my parents live in a memory care home. I got this to help my dad's posture when sitting in the couch. (It matches PERFECTLY, by the way. ) My mom has dementia and constantly moves it when he's not sitting there. It's big & heavy, so difficult for him to move and reposition it back in the couch. I ironed on this note before I thought to take a review picture. Anyway.... with that said, the arms of this pillow don't naturally sit this straight forward, but that's how I've manipulated it to help my dad sit upright without leaning so far to one side. It was just as pictured. The double-sided Aspen model is awesome. This pillow holds it's shape so well and provides excellent support, and it's tall enough that you can comfortably lean your back and head against it. I'm using the suede leather side, which matches their couch so well. The reverse side is a nice soft plush fabric, which I imagine would also be quite comfy. I'm super happy with this purchase and so glad I went with this seller.

I was so happy to find this in a taller size. But it's so firm I can't use it. That's good if you like them hard but I like them soft and cushy. Over priced.

I am absolutely blown away by this pillow! I received it as a Christmas gift and it has quickly become my favorite thing in the house. I have never slept so well in my life. The Husband Pillow is so comfortable and supportive, it feels like I'm being hugged all night long. I can't believe how much better I feel in the morning. I love that the pillow is adjustable, so I can customize it to my exact preferences. I also appreciate that the covers are removable and machine-washable, which makes it easy to keep clean. I highly recommend this pillow to anyone who is looking for a good night's sleep. It is truly the best pillow I have ever owned.

I wanted to like this pillow. I'm 6'2" and this was supposed to be tall enough for me. But the headrest is awful. I have it on the tightest loop and it just falls forward under my upper back constantly. And the pillow in general will not keep it's shape. The stuffing just goes to the bottom and it's impossible to get it repositioned. Beating it, leaving it upside down, nothing seems to work. I don't know how this is so we'll reviewed i hate everything about it. Even the cover feels cheap and it looks like it belongs in a circa 2000 dorm room.

It is a perfect pillow for reading or TV watching in the bedroom. Soft enough to sit comfortably and strong enough so that it doesn't get squished with the person's weight on it. Highly recommended.

Das Sitzkissen Husband Pillow / Aspen - Version kam wie versprochen von der Lieferzeit her pünktlich an! Vom Kissen selber sollte man ca. je nach Zimmertemperatur ungefähr lt. Hinweis des Herstellers 24-48 Std. gewartet werden , bis sich das Kissen von seiner komprimierten Form auf seine ursprüngliche Größe enfaltet hat. Die Aspen Version ist zwar etwas teurer, aber dafür ist der Stoff wie beschrieben wendbar! Sozusagen eine kühlere Seite für den Sommer und eine kuschlige Seite für die Wintertage! Das Kissen ist relativ schwer und hat somit einen guten Stand. Es gibt auch keinerlei lästige oder unangehmen Gerüche von sich und man kann es nach erstmaligen waschen, wenn gewünscht sofort eingesetzt werden nach dieser ersten einmaligen Aklimatisierungsphase! Also ich bin mit dem Kissen sehr zufrieden, freilich könnte es etwas günstiger sein, aber "Aspen" wie der Name schon sagt ist kein billiges Pflaster! Manchmal denkt man gar nicht wie groß doch der Aufwand eines Produktes ist, bis es verkauft werden kann, aber wenn es dann den eigenen Ansprüchen und der Qualität entspricht, gebe ich lieber ein paar Euro mehr aus und bin zufrieden damit!
