After about a week I found them really comfortable and fortunately cool in the hot days. The price is very reasonable so I would certainly recommend them.Sizing is also for me more or less as expected -- I am a standard UK size 10, sometimes with a wide fit. As some reviews recommend ordering a size up, I decided on getting a 10.5 wide rather than a standard 10 or a standard 10 wide and these fit really well. So I would say maybe order half a size up from your usual size, wide if necessary (my feet get bigger in the heat which means the wide fitting is useful).On general fit and comfort I think the advice from Foothugs is very good --try them out for a couple of days,allow them to bed in,get your feet used to them and by wearing them normally you will mould the insoles to your foot shape.Incidentally I have just tried to check something on their website, foothugs.eu, and find it is not yet operating at the time of writing (early July 2021). They are aiming to open the new website by end of July 2021.So, highly recommended -- it has stopped my feet feeling uncomfortably hot and I would not hesitate to go back to Foothugs in the autumn/winter for warmer slippers as well.Many thanks for reading -- this is my own opinion and I bought this item through Amazon in the normal way! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great slippers - should last *by D***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 June 2021* I have always bought my slippers in a certain British department store for many years, but recently the quality has gone down and the insides seem to deteriorate very quickly, way before the outsoles wear out. I thought a leather pair might be the answer, but said store only had a limited range of sizes so I turned to Amazon and found these. On arrival, they were in a close fitting branded box and wrapped with paper and string inside - it immediately had the feel of a premium product. The slippers themselves seem well made with a memory foam insole covered in pale coloured suede. The outer suede is an attractive deep reddy-brown with ventilation holes (which do work well to keep my feel cool) and the sole unit is a foam wedge with a slip resistant pattern.They look good and feel very comfortable. I've gone for the normal width and they are a good fit. Obviously difficult to know how they will last, but so far they seem to be the best slippers that I've had for a very long time and I'll probably buy again when this pair finally give up. ### ⭐ Not suitable for those suffering from neuropathy or painful feet *by A***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 September 2019* I do not like to give negative reviews but in this case I must. I am sorry to say that these slippers are the most uncomfortable slippers that I have ever worn on my feet but to be fair I admit that I suffer from painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy. I was drawn to try these because they were suggested by Amazon when I was searching for suitable slippers for my condition, also they say that they have memory foam which I assumed would be a soft and comfortable material but this is not so with these slippers as the soles feel hard as do the edges of the uppers. The advice that comes with them is that they should have time to be broken in but if you have my condition you can not afford to do this as the pain is aggravated and you might injure yourself and get a nasty wound.
