How long is this spindle? I need a 2 in. one.

The ones that I ordered are 3 1/2 inches long. However, since the door knobs screw onto the spindle (with the ends of the spindles going into the door knobs) it's possible that by screwing them onto the spindle you can get to the 2 inches you are looking for but I don't know this for sure. Good luck.

Are these spindles threaded wnd-to-end or is there an unthreaded section of 1" or 1 1/8" ?

Threaded on eachb and with a middle section not threaded.
