Solid cutters for most jobs.
These are the smallest bolt cutters you can get. They are designed for smaller jobs. I decided to try if they could cut solid steel link chain. The picture speaks for itself. It took multiple attempts but I managed to slowly cut through this material clearly designed for the larger pairs. I therefore think that with a bit of effort, they can cut through pad locks. Was going to buy the larger set but realised these will do the job with a bit of elbow grease. Just look at the jaws of mine. Not even dented the slightest. I am well impressed.

Awesome
Can’t believe they are as good as they are for the size. They cut anything up to about 3.5mm including hardened screws!! Anything bigger than that I’d use my angle grinder so the fact they are well priced, comfortable, strong asf and haven’t folded or chipped, well impressed. No wonder they are an Instagram favourite. Recommend highly

Hey, they cut bolts.
Wanted a pair of these for my tool bag but weren't top of my to buy list - but happened to see these discounted because of damaged packaging which made not a blind bit of difference to the hardened steel tool inside the cardboard (LOL). Thought they might be too small for my hands (size 7 glove - border of small / medium) but they fit nicely and even one handed I can cut through the type of stuff I might come across doing home DIY. I already own a 180 pair of Knippex high leverage combination pliers that aren't a patch on the cutting capability of these little beauties. As a tool that will last a lifetime, it's worth adding a pair to your toolbox and using them to cut the bits around the house or garden that either might damage regular pliers or if you don't have a strong grip.

Can't go wrong with Knipex. Love it!
As usual from Knipex, an amazing product. They could be twice the price and still worth the money. This doesn't defy physics so you won't be cutting locks on the daily, but I love having this in my EDC tool kit. Great for TIG welding filler rods or metal packing bands.

Not sturdy.
Terrible. They have broken within two days of light usage on two millimetre 304 stainless wire.
