I am a wood worker by trade, love etc. I used to have multiple sketch books with all my ideas in them and I would ether loose them or my kids would draw over them. With this book it has helped me organize my builds so I can turn my ideas into reality. Also since I have been making more items for sale it helps me revert back to the sketches I have when I have to make another of the same product.

Nice little journal for the woodworking man or woman in your life!

If you're like me you probably have piles of notes scattered all over the shop. This journal takes care of that. Lots of space, a ton of helpful charts. A very good shop journal. Highly recommended!!!

Liked it so much I ordered a second one, great to quick sketched of wood working ideals, never know when inspiration will hit. Use many times for such things.

A very handy and neat accesory.

For my father-in-law. I know he is going to love them. He loves to spend time in his garage shop. He can record each toy or other project he makes for his children and grandchildren in here. It has lots of very useful charts and information, plus a place he can inventory all the tools he has - handy when he goes to auctions. Paper is mostly grid-lines - so he can sketch out designs he sees or thinks up. Great gift because I didn't have to know what he has or doesn't have in the way of tools. This is a one-size-fits all gift. As long as someone is handy and interested in woodworking, they will most likely appreciate it.

Leather bound hard cover of nice quality. The reference pages at the front are somewhat helpful. Nice paper and the graph is light enough that it won’t interfere with your drawings. However the book doesn’t stay open on its own. This is a dealbreaker for me because I shouldn’t have to put a weight on it to be able to reference my drawing as I work. Returning.
