Every can in this case just tastes like oysters in oil. They don't taste smoked and they have the red pepper in the can but cannot taste it at all nor is there any spice at all. I have been eating them with hot sauce to make up for it. Still the size and overall quality is quite good especially for the price.I have an unhealthy obsession with smoked oysters. I could eat them all day every day. I was a little hesitant to try these based on the bad reviews but for the price I figured it was worth a shot since in the store I'd be paying $3 a can on sale. I was not disappointed! Quality and flavor is great.
