does it work with the fuji xt4

To the best of my knowledge Aodelan is designed to work with all major camera 📸 brands . so long as you're Fuji Xt4 has a hot shoe connection it should work fine . Aodelan also lets you fire the camera shutter by old fashioned wired connection too

Does it work “from the front” I’d like to do self portraits using the remote to take the picture when I’m ready?

Hi, Yes the remote works from any position as it is wireless and doesn't need to be in sight of the camera. I use it with my Nikon 850 and have no issues.

Does it work with sony a6000?

I don't know - if your camera has a remote shutter connector with the correct connector then yes. Look on the website and you'll see a similar item that does include the Sony a6000 in its description.
