The original snapped off at the tank. All these shut off valves are made from soft metal. Zinc is the metal and it's very fragile so take care when installing. Zinc is the same metal they used to make the old cap guns back in the 1950's & 60's. So remember easy does it when installing especially when attaching the fuel line to the nipple. ### ⭐ Check your specs prior to ordering. *by L***P on Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2020* Not a totally exact fit for Honda EU 1000. The Hondas’ have an electric cut off with their valve so the engine stops as soon as you turn it off. This valve would turn off the fuel but not provide the immediate cut off you would expect. This valve does not have the small electric interface required. On 1 unit the face of the nut that mates with the o-ring/gasket had a sharp barb that would slice the o-ring while tightening. On the other, the main treads on the valve were not square with the valve.
