The first two lasted about five years each, slowly fading to what you see in the first photo. I did put lacquer on one, but not the other. Yes I still have them; put them down by the campfire.I received my new sign on 29 April of this year and hung it in the exact same place the other two were hung. Yes it is outside, but since the first two signs did just fine, I thought this one would too. Also, I see in the reviews that others also hang their signs outside. After less than two weeks, the surface started peeling off (see 2nd photo). Unfortunately, it probably is not for outdoor use. As you can see from the attached picture, it deteriorated in less than three years.
