Great addition and value for money
This was purchased for a gig and I was extremely pleased! Very easy to put on and off, I only had to sand very lightly the bridge opening (no harm at all). Sound was great though I don’t have other pickup to compare with. For the price this is an amazing product! I was pleased and glad I read the reviews!

Looks beautiful on my violin
My sister has the VV-1, which I borrowed for a recent performance and it worked well. When I saw this version—the VV-3—with the ebony Carpenter jack, I jumped at it. Looks beautiful on my violin! The pickup installed quite easily… instructions are on the side of the box. I plugged in for rehearsal today and it sounded perfect. Can’t wait to perform with it!

Great Device. . . . for Public Performance!
This is the second pickup like this I have installed. . . . . one on a full size violin, and this one on my viola, that I use on a regular basis for public performances using a PA or amplifier. The ease of playing my viola, without having to stand near a vocal mic is such a relief!! Now I can relax, and move more naturally with my instrument, and also use some reverb, effects with it, independent of our vocal mic settings. An extremely easy to install pickup system!! A slight modification to the bridge, with a mini file, or sandpaper. . . . .is all that is necessary for proper placement.

KNA Pickup
Got this pick up for ChristmasMy husband did research and this was a good option for him. So got it ordered, easy to install on the fiddle and looks very nice. I was worried it might look big...and possiby make my case not shut. But it fits perfectly and case closes...love thisThanks for everything

Works beautifully!!
Works beautifully!!! No feedback or reverb. All I had to do was sand down a little bit of the eye of the bridge to get the pick up to fit, plugged it in and it worked immediately. I don't know why there have been so many low ratings of this product. Maybe its because you forgot to plug the amp cord in all the way or didn't know that there was "some small sanding required" to make the product fit into the bridge of your instrument. I assure you it works.

LR Baggs preamp really helps
At first the KNA VV3 pickup on my violin sounded so bright and harsh i thought I would be sending it back. But after a day or so of tweaking using the EQ options on my LR Baggs Venue DI things have turned around dramatically. I had to roll off the piercing highs dramatically as well as some of the nasal mids. But now the sound is surprisingly warm and natural. I never would have thought it would be this good based on the first listen. I have to say I am completely satisfied now, and the volume level before feedback is awesome. So can say the KNA VV3 is a great option for a violin pickup, but you are likely going to need a good EQ capable preamp to tame this beast.

Ok cool it happens
Received first pickup, did not work. Ok cool it happens. Received replacement pickup. Doesn't work. If you hold it just right a certain way it works for a sec or two. Garbage quality control. Stay away until they resolve this issue. Got this because of the size. I guess I will have to hunt for another pickup. I bought below after second try of the Kremona, guess what, worked the first time, sounds fine, and was less than 10 bucks. Go figure.Andoer Cherub WCP-60V Clip-on Pickup Pick-up for Violin with 1/4" Jack 2.5M Cable Compact Professional

It’s a nice sound
It has the warmer, woody quality I was looking for, but got crunchy in the mid range. I think I had too much pressure in the bow, or rather, more than it could handle. But, it will serve well for acoustic gigs that need a mellow volume boost. Be advised too, that you will have to file a bit on your bridge to make more space for this pickup.
