I got this just to calm my Shih Tzu down a little as he is very hyper.I read all the reviews some said great some said not so great and some said caused diarrhea I read the instructions and only gave him 1/2 of the dose as I didn’t want him sleeping just calm I only give it to him in the morning not at night as he sleeps just fine.It works great for him so far he is calm during the day not barking at every thing plays well with my other 2 boys.

These are great! Our dog is very reactive and with the warmer weather, we've had the windows open more. This makes things worse because she can hear other animals or cars and it keeps her jolting up through the night at every little noise (we even sleep with a white noise machine). We've tried other calming treats and cbd but she just pushes through it. The first night I gave her 2 of these treats, she finally slept through the night! We've used them 2 more times since then and same results. They are pretty smelly and I've read reviews that other dogs don't like them but she is extremely food motivated and will eat anything so I can't really speak on that. For reference she is an 8 year old cattle dog mix and weighs 30lbs.

Bought for a senior dog to help with sun downing. He barks, whines, licks and begs for food constantly from 5pm until we go to bed. These help a little. I had to give him one and a half tablets even though his dose is one tablet. They aren’t a sedative so if your dog is very anxious, I don’t see them working. For our dog, they help settle him so he isn’t in and out of bed multiple times before he settles. They don’t smell great but he loves them! No side effects.

I work at my local Animal Shelter and adopted an 'animal hoarding/neglect' four month old puppy. He has slowly come out of his shell - with me - over time. This is the only dog I have ever had that I didn't immediately crate train. One, I didn't see the need, as he rarely moved. Two, I didn't want to attempt it and have it cause him more harm than good. This worked nicely for a while. Eventually, he started licking armpits and crying all night because I wasn't awake to give him 100% of the attention he wanted. I tried to just ignore it, hoping it would go away with time but it didn't. So, I gave him his own room. Made it all cozy, etc. That worked for about a week. He decided he was going to eat the blinds, the carpet, the door, anything he could find. So, I broke down and bought the crate. He seemed to love it for the first couple of days, and then the non-stop barking and scratching at the cage ensued. I saw the reviews on this and hoped that it would help us all to be more comfortable. It was going to be nearly a week until I received it and so in the meantime, I got him a new bed and put it in my room at the foot of the bed. He slept there almost perfectly the entire time. I thought that even when this did arrive, I probably just wouldn't worry with the crate anymore, since his licking and crying issue seemed to have pretty well come to an end. I finally received these and gave one to my boy immediately. No change, I have seen several people on reviews say that the recommended dosage didn't do anything, but that when they give more, it will work. So, I gave my boy another. He became a barking, inconsolable idiot. Talked shit All. Night. Long. When I would reach out to pet/console him, he would try to bite at my hands as if it were playtime. Finally, around two am, into the kennel he went. It is now 8 am and he is still pacing and anxious, although the barking has let down just a little. I read one review that said she had to give this to her dogs for weeks in order for it to start making any difference in their behavior, so, I will continue to give it a try. If my experience goes as hers does, I will revise my star rating and update my review. But, I have to say, based on immediate 'for travel, grooming, or stressful situations', I 10/10 would NOT recommend this product.

The only one that’s worked so far! My dog has dementia induced anxiety and sundowning. Up until now the only thing that worked was a strong injectable prescription sedative that would knock her out for 24hrs. If I give this to her, an hour or so before bedtime she’s able to relax and fall asleep. I’m so happy!

Unfortunately this did not work for my 6lb Yorkie. He is deadly afraid of the groomers and has a lot of anxiety when he rides in the car. It took a lot of coaxing to get him to even eat it (yes he’s very picky). And after he finally had one supplement, he was even more nervous and anxious than he had been before!

Works like a charm my dogs are sleep in no time works for fireworks , travel or groomers even my one year old pitmix who is overly hyper is out within 30 mins to an hour

I know some dogs wont respond to these as I read before buying them, and some dogs may need more or less then the suggested amount to- but if you give this time and tweak the dosages, to see what works for your dog, Im telling you its so worth it! At first I gave it to our puppy as an aide with separation anxiety. But it didnt do to much for him at first. It was when I increased from 2 of them to 3, that it appeared he seemed calmer and happier. Quieter and less whiney. Then he started stressing alot on car rides to the point of throwing up- so about an hour before wed leave for a ride, boom, 3 of these and sooooo much more mellow!!! No more vomiting. Still fidgety but wayyyyy better. Then I tried it prior to his vet shot visits, before his baths and just random times when stress was higher and like candy now he gulps them down knowing he will be happy. Hes now almost five months, and he gets them four or five times a month for various situations and every single time they work like magic. Now hes teething pretty heavily and so Ive been giving him 2 in the morning after his breakfast and 2 after his dinner. They take the edge off his pain bigtime. These little wonderful chews have been a life saver for us in raising our puppy who is very high strung. I cant be happier and will keep them stocked. He was quite the handful in the first few months to say the least, but this product tamed and mellowed him into a more normal growing puppy who is much easier to work with. We love him so so much, and are so glad to have found something that works so awesome for our little furbaby. Just tweak and see what dose your dog will need because ours needed more to work. But once it kicked in- its like night and day in our dog. No bad stomach reactions at all. No side affects except being mellow and happy. Sometimes he will sleep on and off in a relaxed state but not lethargic by and means. Just mellow. Hes been on these for a few months now with great success. Our vet said alot of people use these products instead of medicating animals especially higher strung anxious dogs. She stated as long as you use them correctly and dont abuse them they are great. She loved the ingredients. I hope they work out great for everyone like they do for us. I keep them on hand where ever we need them. Our dog loves them. I wish they came in a human consumption lol.

Dogs won't move overnight! They keep sleeping. Will definitely re order.

Bought this for my 8 pound toy poodle, we’re going on a 14 hour flight soon and these had no effect on him.
