Didn't work

I have the stainless model. That part is good.In fact it's excellent and pretty easy to clean.I have had problems with the motor twice, butthey will stand behind and send you a repairedor new one, after sending the old one in. Soyou may be without it occasionally, frustratinglyso. Might be good to have a spare on hand. Can'tcompare it to any other juicer, but it's light anddoesn't take up much room. I only use it for wheat-grass and it's excellent at that, when it's working.It is quite a hassle to pack something up, ship itand wait for a return. Only to do it again, hopefullynot a third time.

I bought the plastic version. This thing takes forever (about 30 minutes) to juice enough grass for 8 ounces of juice. You have to be incredibly careful not to overload it. You can damage the juicing screen and bend it pretty easily. For the money it does the job but is a royal pain! I looked at the one used by the guy who sells me my wheatgrass and his costs $800! So if you are willing to babysit this beast then it does work... I just bought an Omerga 8006 Juicer to replace this one. The difference is night and day!

It looks nice, functions, the exterior wipes clean easily, and it's not loud at all. That's about all I can say on a positive note. While I don't like giving bad reviews, these considerations may save someone else a hassle. Had I read what I'm about to say here before buying this juicer, I probably wouldn't have purchased it at all.Of most concern is that the plastic auger on mine was damaged in use. A half inch strip of one of the screw surfaces at the smaller end is chewed up, which happened after using it less than 10 times. A mangled strip of plastic was peeled back and needed to be cut away before using it again.The machine is fussy about how much you feed into it. Accidentally jamming it can result in the damage noted above.Fairly difficult to clean; it can also be tricky to fit together.Plastic parts can't be tightened properly, and the end where the rope of grass comes out drips, unscrewing itself as the machine runs.The rope of grass is never dry the first time around and needs to be picked apart and fed through several times.Need to run the juicer over a fine mesh strainer to catch the pulp that is forced through the screen. Pulp gets caught in the screen and threads and is difficult to scrub off.Pulp catches in all the crevices of the interior parts and stays there, staining the unit no matter how long it's soaked or brushed.The juice is foamy.Takes a long time to make a small amount of juice and makes a mess.Good luck if you choose this. Personally, I'm saving up for something better, with metal parts.

Makes juicing wheatgrass very very easy!!
