Most have the over the foot straps being attached in sole and not on the side making them very narrow for a Really Flat-Footed Person. Then I saw these and read the reviews. Overall it looked well made from the pics and the reviews pushed me over the top to the positive side to try a pair. I have been wearing them for a little over 1 week and happy to say they are everything I was looking for in a sandal. Lightweight but sturdy. They were a little stiff at first but after 2 days they loosened up and now are easy walking. My feet swell on the top part of my foot from Type 2 but these accommodate after breaking them in. So far I am very happy with these. Even wet they don't slip and are easy air dry and/or wipe dry. Good arch support and you can tell it is doing the job. Great value for a sandal in the less expensive range. I must say it was a surprise to find these and them fit my feet well. I did measure my foot length and it was just under 10.5 inches long so I got the size 11 and they are perfect for me. I like a little extra in the front of my toes and behind my heal giving extra protection against a curb bump or any type bump. Only complaint is the sandal toe connection can be a bit wide and rubs. The traction bottoms are fantastic for all surfaces and is the reason I purchased them. They also clean up easily. If not for that issue with the toe connection, I would have given 5 stars. Second pair I purchased was not as bad.
