Buy Vaccine Illusion: Read Kindle Store Reviews - desertcart.com Review: The Vaccine Debate will Start Making Sense After You Read This - This is a really good book on vaccination, and I'm going to tell you why. The author is an Immunologist, schooled at the University of Rochester, and having done post-doctoral work, solid credentials. This is one of the best books I've read about vaccines, and I've read many. This book surprised me; without getting too technical, it goes deep into the immunology side of why vaccines are not working, what unintended germ and exposure consequences they are creating, why "Herd Immunity" cannot exist through vaccinations, how antibody-mediated immunity works--and it even debunks the several misconceptions surrounding the early history of vaccinology. This is honest work. The author is providing you academic knowledge of what we do and do not know about our millenial-old immune system, which leads any common sense person to question whether we truly do need a better understanding of the immune system before we continue injecting drugs into our bodies. The author gives you some good reasons why the study of Immunology has really lost sight of the goal and how all the issues we are seeing with drugs points to the same lesson. This books is well-researched with sources cited, but it isn't going to bash you over the head with the politics of vaccines. It is not over-bearing. Rather, it's going to provide you with the educational background to honestly question their validity and safety. This book will actually answer with factual textbook immunology lessons many of the questions you might have as to WHY. There are some areas of the book that are rather strong in opinion without a full validation of the premise, but overall you will learn a lot. Notice that the very few 1 star reviews on this book are neither from verified purchases nor give you any reason why they don't like it--just the typical name calling of those opposed to vaccine choice. As for the "fellow immunologist" review, I find it had to believe that a fellow academician would submit a 1 star review based on hypothetical questions for the author without either providing their own credentials or contacting the author directly. Once you read this book, everything you see on the internet on both sides regarding the actual science of the issue will start making sense. Review: Essential reading for anyone interested in the vaccination debate - Like most people, I grew up accepting vaccination as a not-so-pleasant, but necessary part of life. I knew there were people who were anti-vaccination, but I could see no real reason to even investigate the reasons one might make this choice. Vaccinations stop you from getting sick; that's what I believed, in a nutshell. Then I had two children diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. I began reading. A lot! It was inevitable that the subject of vaccinations kept cropping up, and eventually, more out of academic interest than anything else, I decided to find out what all the debate was about. There are a great many books on the subject that I have not yet read, both for and against, but this book would have to be one of the best, and one of the first I would personally recommend on the subject. It is written by an immunologist, and highlights the way in which the whole vaccination paradigm rests on untested assumptions; for example, the assumption that anti-body production equals immunity. Indeed, the whole field of immunology is actually the study of how we can artificially replicate natural immunity. The problem is, NO-ONE HAS ACTUALLY RESEARCHED HOW NATURAL IMMUNITY WORKS. We have simply assumed that vaccinations work in the same way as natural exposure to viruses and bacteria. As my grandfather is fond of saying, "Assumption is the mother of all stuff-ups!" It is the author's belief, from her own experience as a researcher in the field of immunology, that these assumptions have not only prevented us from investigating and discovering the way natural immunity works, but they have also led us to accept a practice which, ironically, undermines our immune systems, both individually and as a society (yes, that old 'herd immunity' chestnut gets a mention). This is not written by someone with an ideological agenda, or anecdotal stories about what vaccination has done to them and their loved ones. There's no hint of big-pharma conspiracies to keep us all sick, or any other emotionally charged arguments. This is simply a book written by a scientist who had unanswered questions in her research area of immunology. Questions which she quickly discovered were frowned upon, but which had big implications for our understanding of how to work WITH our immune system, rather than against it. I am yet to discover any pro-vaccination material that even comes close to addressing her concerns.

Essential reading for anyone interested in the vaccination debate

After reading this book it helped me in understanding the mechanics of vaccines and how they might be flawed. It also helps parents having doubt about vaccines and how to answer them. I would suggest reading an alternate solution to vaccine: homeopropalyxis after this book. The understanding of diseases susceptibility in real world is very well documented here and the above book.

Many great insights and revelations in this book. Well put together. I would recommend this book along with a couple of others in making the case very strongly against the sick vaccine industry (also see the what doctors don't tell you book, and dr Vernon Coleman's title on vaccines). If you don't want your convenient illusions about vaccines and their supposed safety , efficacy, and related 'herd immunity' SHATTERED, then definetly steer clear if this book- because it will hurt your mind.

Thank you for being so courageous to write this book. One can imagine that reactions are not always friendly. The book gives a very good overview on what are the current missing links and in what direction modern research should go.
