Review: Christmas - Beautiful pictures and my daughter loved that it's color by nub Review: Love everything about it ... - I have colored my fair share of flowers and butterflies already and was looking for a coloring book with more intricate pictures/ scenes. I bought this after seeing reviews and pictures and I absolutely love it. I like all the pictures in this book and that never happens. There are plenty of pictures so this will last awhile. I don't see any mistakes. Pictures are outlined nicely. One picture per page - blank on the back. The pictures are definitely intricate/detailed. I'll be coloring for a good 5 hours and only finish half a picture. The intricacies also mean I can't see all the tiny gray numbers. I'm 45 and my reading glasses didn't help so I hold a magnifying glass with a light in my left hand while I color with my right. It helps me see the numbers and many of the tiny, detailed areas I'm coloring. These are minor issues but noteworthy: 1.) Sometimes you will see portions of a picture without numbers. Check the picture reference index to verify color(s). Sometimes it's correct (it's snow and meant to be left uncolored), other times it's a mistake. 2.) On occasion, the numbers are cut off or even indistinguishable (15 vs.16, 16 vs. 18) - at least for these eyes - but again check the picture index. 3.) Sometimes the wrong numbers are used which you may or may not realize before coloring. For example, I'll be coloring a pink bow and see the other half is numbered green, but the picture index shows the whole bow is pink. You kind of pick up on these things as you go along. 4.) I don't get what 0 means on the color chart. I think 0 means shaded and based on the picture index maybe you're to use darker shades of color but I'm not certain. I've included a pic of the book's color chart. I was using a 24-pack of Crayola colored pencils at first (finished picture is from using Crayola pencils). Crayola 24 colors work well with this book but it doesn't have violet, the purple comes out blue, and it doesn't have different shades of gray but you can improvise (pic of Crayola 24 color chart attached). I upgraded to Prismacolor Scholar pencils but actually prefer using Crayola (I'm now using the 100-pack). I personally don't see any quality difference between using Crayola vs. Prismacolor. The book's chart color names don't match exactly with the pencil colors (Crayola or Prismacolor) except for a few colors. Not really an issue, just an FYI. I don't agree with the review that said the color of objects doesn't make sense. My only issue is sometimes a simple object will be 8 different colors when it could just as easily be one color. But I wanted intricate! I think the paper is nice and sturdy and the pages are perforated. I tried to leave the pages in the book as I colored them but as you keep turning to the color chart the pages in the front start to fold along their perforation line and the book starts to wear and tear. I would love for the color chart to be a flap that folds out so that you don't have to keep turning to the front of the book. Lastly, it's super affordable, most coloring books are more expensive. I highly, highly recommend.

Christmas 🎄 🥰
I bought this color by numbers because it was affordable, I love coloring and I'm obsessed with Christmas. The colors are easy to follow. (I used markers instead of colored pencils...so if u do...place a sheet behind the picture you're working on so it doesn't go thru). I've colored a picture a day and they all turned out great

Great holiday fun
It is a great adult coloring book. I love that it comes with tiny colored pictures so I know how it's suppose to turn out. BUT there are a few flaws. ONE: 0 = shade does not mean darker all the time. One of the pictures I did, shade meant lighter/highlight. So I had to use the picture index to make sure I was doing the correct "shade". TWO: some of the sections were missing numbers that needed color. THREE: one of the pictures I did had a section that wanted two different colors. The picture index became very handy in choosing a similar color. OVERALL a good product. It is a good for passing the time during the holiday season.

I love George!
George Toufexis makes my absolute FAVORITE color-by-number coloring books! Each one looks like a work of art when completed. Yes, the numbers are TiNY, but the finished product is so satisfying.

love it ^.^
i have most of mr toufexis' books ^.^ they are my favorite to color in. this christmas book is great. there is a huge variety of pictures to color. i like to do them with watercolors. never had any issues with the paper. sometimes you come across a missing or wrong number, but it's not anything that would keep me from enjoying the books or buying more.

Super Motive.

Bellissimo libro antistress a tema natalizio
