Worked like a charm to replace the Crockpot lid handle that I melted in the oven. I call that moment a "right of passage" - I THOUGHT it shouldn't go in the oven, but I decided to put the crockpot and the lid in anyway. This knob was easy to install (basically it just screws on) and the lid (and crockpot) are as good as new. This will NOT be going into the oven - Lesson Learned!

I thought i was in over my head with this "honey do" repair until this totally badazz knob showed up and changed my life, came with a new stainless screw that screwed right in tight, and righty tighty lefty loosy normal screw thread, and sweet black plastic with nice texture feel for full control when whipping pots around the kitchen. It looked like a whole new lid after the install too more sleek and modern, faster handling too. I loctited that bad boy in too. The old cap was some lame oval shape whereas this one was round and made me proud of my work at the end of the day. The wife, she went crazy nuts with tears of joy when she saw the finished product and knew it WAS me and my tools who fixed it cheap and saved the day. lining the screw up with the hole is the only hard part that took a while, I looked for instructions but there weren't any, fortunately there's a great primer on you tube for pot lid knob replacement. If you need to do a knob this is it simple and quick. WARNING COMES WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS - USE CAUTION DO NOT CROSS THREAD SCREW / DO NOT REPLACE KNOB WHEN PAN IS IN USE / DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN GLASS LIDS BREAK!! (see my other review on replacement lids) - leaving picture of my old broken knob for comparison You can see the buggered up threads that started this whole adventure in home improvement. I'm not sure I'd do it again at my age 64, was a lot of hard work and manual labor, but if you have to then this knob is for you.

I am pleased to find a replacement handle on Amazon. Replacing the broken lid of my Crockpot, rather than buying a new Crockpot saved at least $50. Thrifty me first tried to use my Crockpot lid with the open hole the broken handle created - THIS FAILED because the moisture steamed out, ruining my food. This handle sealed the hole, restoring function to my Crockpot. Beyond saving money, keeping a good Crockpot from the landfill is a big plus for the environment. I chose four stars instead of five because the 6 qt. lid has domed glass. This handle didn't fit the shape securely, making it difficult to screw on. When I soaked it in warm water to soften the plastic, the slight amount of added flexibility made installation easier and it fit better than straight out of the box. My repaired Crockpot works like new!

Perfect, now I don’t need a new Crock Pot! I almost got a new crockpot because my lid handle broke. Found this first, ordered and it fit perfectly. It’s sturdy and as good as the original (though shaped slightly different).

I have a "vintage" 6 litre model that has literally made dinner for generations. When the lid handle broke, as most plastics will do eventually, I had some doubt about whether I could find a suitable replacement handle. But it's not safe to handle the lid without a proper handle. I found this product on Amazon and am very satisfied. This lid handle is well-suited as a "universal" replacement. It fits my vintage slow-cooker perfectly. The handle is easy to install. We broke our handle on our crockpot and thought I’d have to get a new one! Always check Amazon first! We were in luck! This fit our crockpot, was easy to find and replace! Was so worth it!
