Depending on how long you spend soldiering the wire on ,shouldn’t be a problem though , properly terminated crimps are good enough though

I don't think so. The LED display is probably wired to work with conventional negative earth batteries. I would emphasize this is just my opinion. It probably could be got round but you would need to know what you are doing!

This charger can charge the macbook air via USB C Port , but you have to make sure your vehicles can provide enough voltage 24V, and use the original cables or third-party authorized cables. Normally, the truck, boat can provide more than 24V volatge. But it cannot charge the macbook air via the USB C port in MOST cars which can provide only 12V.
