If I could give this thing 6 stars I would! Versatile, well made and efficient. It’s so easy to get it going that I’m using it ten times more than my traditional smoker. Reverse smoked steaks and pork chops, planked salmon, brisket, pork belly…whether it’s a one hour smoke or a long overnight smoke, it gets it done. On the brisket, it still can’t match the flavor of a “real” traditional smoker (I’ve had a Weber Smokey Mountain for years) with wood chunks and charcoal, but the results are still good. It achieved a nice bark and a light smoke ring, just not to the degree the Weber will do. The Weber is a pain in the you-know-what to get going and control the temp. The Traeger does it all for you. This is a great product. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

Great Grill it’s looks GREAT!

100/10 every time! It’s easy enough that I use it (wifey) and it cooks faster than most smokers say it takes on other brands! Will add that it perfectly fits 1 Texas brisket but no room for sides!!

After I arrived from vacation , I opened the box and the lid had a dent on the top , which prevents the lid from closing tightly. I have to use a bungee cord to close it tight.

Wish I had got this years ago. My husband thinks he’s a chef now.

2022: Like many before me, our new Traeger needed a new motherboard because it NEVER once heated up to temperature correctly, needing to be "reset" many times over 3 or 4 hours to cook one item. Traeger support has loooooong wait times, to talk with someone who was not efficient with time. This was a christmas gift for someone who had wanted one for a long time, and I can't tell you how disappointed I am with the company. Sadly, this will be our last Traeger. 2024: Having never successfully worked with their product support team (due to a combination of long wait times and ridiculous useless scripts), over the last couple of years we've tried several times to simply work around the problems we've had with the smoker. It is about 70° off of temp, takes up to 4 hours to get to the cooking temperature, and twice now the pellets have dispensed so fast that it caused flare-up wgich shut the entire operation down. We've continued to try to use this smoker in spite of its problems simply because the hassle of the returning it, the expense of buying a new one has so far overwhelmed our irritation with a shitty smoker. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back :-( it took me 2 years to write this review but I'm finally ready to post it and advise you to NOT buy this product, epecially off of Amazon since you have to work with Traeger's customer service agents who absolutely do not want you to return it to Amazon if you can even get a hold of them to have that conversation which took me a ridiculous number of hours waiting on hold and going through their scripted customer service BS, to finally accomplish. Plus a large product like this is difficult to return and not worth the hassle. Buy locally so you can return locally if you feel like you must have this Traeger product

It great grill

I bought the smaller version of this smoker 12 years ago. It was stored outside under a cover and made it through the tough Canadian Winters. 12 years of service is excellent and so when I wanted a new one I only looked at Traeger. I bought this slightly bigger one as I liked the sale price, Bronze Lid, chimney and additional features. The Amazon delivery guy delivered it right to my deck. Assembly was pretty easy and directions were excellent. I followed the seasoning procedure which is a good idea to ensure that all is working correctly. For my first smoke on the new smoker I am doing ribs, wings and chicken. Smoker works great staying at the precise temperature I set it to. Highly recommend.

I like its simplicity, convenient to use and easy cleaning. I had used it for grilling steaks and burgers, so great to smell and eat.

Love love love this smoker, have made some amazing jerky and smoked chicken in it so far.

Got this at a good price. Free shipping and arrived quickly. No damage and works 100 percent fine. If you get this grill please call traeger or look up the new start up procedure as it as changes. The manual I got was wrong and showed the old way to start

The smoker is great. The shipping by CEVA was terrible, tracking was bad, but luckily I did receive grill, however it was late!
