.025. Thickness (DW3989)
Most blade thickness is .020. This one is .025. Thickness is more important than TPI (teeth per inch). Band saw blades have a tendency to jam. Thinner saw blades have a tendency to break when the blade jams.

High Quality
As usual superior quality from Dewalt. These blades work very well as general purpose blades, will cut steel threaded rod very well, if you want to cut thin stuff such as sheet metal you need a finer cut i.e. more teeth per inch. I use these all the time and they last and cut better than any others I've tried.

Band saw blades
They are what I wanted no problem. I liked them. For my portable band saw

Poor quality.
These blades did not last at all. One blade I started to cut pipe with and the teeth wore off before I completed 1 cut. I have bought many other brands and 3 blades normal last for a year depending on use, I went through 3 blade in 2 weeks. Will not buy again.

Poor Quality
Used to cut 1 inch brass pipe and went through all 3 blades in an hour. Very brittle for some reason. I examined the broken blade and you can see cracks all along the blade. At least it didn’t break at the weld but I won’t be buying this brand again
