Great quality belt and comfortable for short women. I'm 5'4" and have a short torso. I originally intended to get the women's specific Model 2000 that isn't available on Amazon, but I'm glad I chose the Model 2004 instead. My waist is usually around 28-29 inches which puts me in a size "Small." However I chose the XS in this belt and it fits with a little room to spare! Not planning to gain any inches in this area (I'm untrained) so I'm not worried being near the upper limit of this belt. It feels very secure and is comfortable on the back. The contoured shape is great for my high hips.

Absolutely great!
This is the best belt which I’ve tried. It has a unique shape and fit perfectly to my curves. The velcro is strong and all the stitches are durable. It gives you a great back support and doesn’t push against your sides. Lock mechanism is great and you will never have an incident during heavy lifting. Definitely recommend!

Great belt. Should have jumped on it sooner.
This is a solid belt. I have a heavy duty Inzer leather belt for big lifts and for everything else I was using a 10+ year old TKO belt that I don't think they even make anymore. While I had no serious issues before, I have felt so much more comfortable and stable with this new belt. I've also tried Rogue's cheaper velcro belt and didn't feel too secure in it.I have a shorter torso so the thinner sides are easier on my hips. I do a mixture of lifting including crossfit, and powerlifting. For powerlifting and olympic lifting training , this is great for everything except maybe the heaviest lifts. For crossfit, it's a little mixed as the belt is extremely comfortable but not as quick to adjust as a regular one strap belt. If a workout included something like heavy cleans and some more core focused work, the belt would take a second to adjust or take off between the two exercises. I can otherwise leave it on between most varieties of workouts. I still can't fault the belt as it isn't designed to be taken on and off quickly.Build quality seems great so far. You'd think a fabric/velcro belt with varied thickness might have some give but it provides great support. Having the initial velcro inside to fit plus the second outer loop feels very secure.I hate to spend this much for another item to add onto the equipment pile but I do see myself getting a lot of use from this belt. If you're on the fence, you should know this is a solid belt and worth the money. I'll update immediately if I should ever feel otherwise.

Weight Belt
I purchsed this belt for use during squats, overhead presses and deadlifts where the use of a weightlifting belt is important for additional support. The belt works fairly well for me with a few caveats. On the positive side, this belt is USA made and well constructed. As I said, it works pretty effectively for me in bracing my back and abdominal muscles. The contour shape does not interfere with deep squats as advertised and allows for excellent range of movement. There are a couple small negatives however. First, after about 4 months of use with fairly typical weight amounts, I find the velcro slips just a bit. It is not severe and does not appear to be getting worse with further use but it oft requires readjustment of the belt to keep it very snug after a couple sets. I do NOT have any concerns about the belt becoming completely loose or failing during a heavy lift. The redundant velcro strap assures this. Second, I wish the back support was even a bit larger vertically. The listed measurements are accurate and anyone under 6' tall or with a small core would likely not find extra support necessary. I cannot hold it against this product but for my personal tastes, another couple of inches of support would be ideal.Bottom line: If you're looking for a USA made, cost-effective weightlifting belt for squats, you'd be hard pressed to find something better. If you're over 6' tall or have a long core, you might consider something with larger coverage. Your mileage may vary.

Game Changer
I have been against using a lifting belt for a while, but this has been a game changer for me. Having a pre-existing intermittent breathing issue, compounded with heavy squats and deadlifts, I would literally be gasping for air after a set. My coach recommended that I use a lifting belt and after searching around for the best one for me, I decided to get this one because of the quality, durability, and the stars reminded me of Captain America. After reading the reviews, I decided to get an XS instead of a small. My waist is usually between 25.5”-28”, which the size chart recommends a small. So glad I read the reviews and got an XS because it fits me perfectly. Thank you fellow reviewers. After using the Schiek lifting belt for the first time, I noticed a significant improvement in performance. I could lift heavier than before and I didn’t feel like I was going to pass out afterwards, which is nice. Fainting is no fun.Overall, this is a great investment towards any fitness endeavor not to mention, you’re going to look like a superhero while lifting. Happy lifitng! 💪

Perfect belt for shorter torso’s
Perfect belt for people with short torso’s or need mobility while maintaining a larger back support or abdominal contact. I tried almost a dozen belts ranging in price upto $150 and I kept this one. Every other belt either dug into my ribs/hips, failed to provide adequate back support or had too thin of abdominal contact causing discomfort. This belt was perfect!
