In the past I've paid Β£100+ for digital recorders (to record focus groups and interviews) and although they were well made and robust, at this price I don't think you can go wrong (if it does go wrong it's not the end of the world). Being made in China it takes more effort to understand the instructions - hence I immediately delete my first recording but no problems now.
