Work well in that application! Sorry don't have more for you? **Q: is this strainer bleach/chlorine tolerant?** A: it cheaply made and cracked under presure **Q: Are there replacement plastic lids available from Seaflow and how can I order them?** A: yes, contact seaflo.com for a new top. If you are using it in a marine environment i would suggest you order a complete second unit. **Q: I see others using this for raw water input for engine cooling. The pic shows the strainer above the motor, which means it would drain out each time?** A: The inlet will drain back through the suction line if you leave your seacock open. Close the seacock, twist off the top of the strainer clean the element. Refill any lost water, replace the top and open the seacock.
