TO be fair, I only use for garlic, mainly crushing but sometimes slicing. This tool does it all.Comes with a silicon bag to roll a clove and remove loose outer skin. place a few cloves in crusher (depending one size) and pull down handle. out comes crushed garlic flesh through the holes. simply wipe remnants and the main skin (if not peeled prior) will be left in the base of the crusher. Just tease out with knife tip or something similar.Slicer is equally as good and leaves perfectly evenly sliced pieces of garlic.
