No it won't hold your hair properly. It has a very low-medium hold as it claims. It's a hair pomade and not a hair cream or a wax.

I use it on both dry and wet hair. That’s the best part about this product its made with water so no harm or side effects!

Does this product give a strong hold?

Medium hold at best. It's not a hair wax so don't expect a strong hold but if your hair can be styled even without any products added then this pomade will do the job just fine
