easy to use
very easy to use, did help put my mind at easy while i was waiting for a gp appointment and the nhs one that was sent away was clear also. I do however recommend no matter if the result is normal you still do tests through the GP/NHS as its good to make sure its 100%. I only did this as was waiting 2 weeks for gp appointment

Accurate
I used this test along side the NHS bowel screening test, for peace of mind, rather than having to wait 2 weeks for the result. Both tests, fortunately, were negative. I found the FIT test fairly easy to use, I didn’t collect samples over 3 days as it advises in the notes, collecting one sample was bad enough! You have to wait exactly 10 minutes for the results, which is quite tense, but the result was very clear. I would definitely use it again.

Same results as fit test was detected
This test is good, A fit test was done at the doctors also for a family member both came back negative, so according to the fit test and this test we had the same results

Didn't work.
Didn't work. 3 samples required to be kept in the fridge between sessions and then the test failed without a control line. It was a waste of time for me. I've done lots of these before from other brands and never had an issue.

Good however please read
It's worth knowing that if you are comparing this as an NHS one for bowel screening this would be accurate. However of you are having a FIT test from your GP based on symptoms then this test is not for you. The GP test reference range is below 10 this test detects blood from 30 upwards which yes is a lot more sensitive for bowel screening tests but not for general referral tests from the GP. Also if you are using this because you had a positive from an at home FOB test the results may be different as a FOB test can detect blood from the upper and lower digestive track. E.g it can pick up blood from stomach ulcers etc as well as anything from the lower bowel. This test is for the lower bowel only as per NHS FIT tests. It's just worth noting this information prior to buying.

Seems to work well - but can you be sure...?
I purchased a different brand and tested for blood / bowel issues a few days prior. The test was positive. I purchased immediately, this kit as it is a Fit test rather than FOB test and the results were negativeI presume that the FOB test I used initially, picked up blood from the steak I had the evening before the test. Whereas this test, only shows human blood in stool. I would therefore go for this one, even though a little more expensive - in future.

Good for peace of mind
I have suffered from years with bowel issues. My younger sibling has bowel Cancer so whilst waiting for a Dr’s appointment, I did a test with another cheaper brand. 1sr one was faintly positive, next one negative. I then tried this test - much easier to use with clear instructions and was a negative. Will still see the Dr but this has made me feel more at ease.
