Though it was a bit pricey. It cooks evenly, the inside isn't discolored after using it, and the handle is much more comfortable than it's major competitor (the handle has round edges that don't cut into your hand). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Now I'm making sauces and gravy *by O***T on September 20, 2022* This is a really impressive saucier. I've wanted one for some time, especially as our household has recently gone from two, to three -- soon to be four. And I'm the cook at 77 years old, but used to be a prep cook in a hotel kitchen back in the '80s.I started making my morning oatmeal. It's quicker and much more creamy than in my old sauce pan AND I don't lose 15 percent of my oatmeal stuck to the bottom corners of the pan. I started making sauces and gravies. What a breeze. Acidic tomato sause doesn't etch the bottom of the pan. Tonite I made lobster sauce for white fish. I'm a happy camper.I'm limited to buying one pan at a time, replacing old cookware, as I'm on a fixed income. Looks like next is a 12" skillet.
