Easy install dashcam hardwire kit
This AURA HWK5V HD1 / HD2 5V Hard Wiring Kit is typical of hardwire kits for powering dashcams. This fitted a Road Angel dashcam in my daughters car. It was easy to fit (I'm an amateur) and there's plenty of cable to go from fusebox under the dashboard, around all the nooks and crannies, up to the dashcam by the rear view mirror. The instructions are easy to follow and are designed for someone with no prior knowledge to be able to install. I'd suggest getting one of those cheap kits for levering open a gap between metal car chassis and the padding on the roof etc. This makes it easier to hide the cable. These hardwire kits are much better than powering the dashcam via a 12v "cigarette lighter" power socket in the car.

Not type C - be aware!
Not type C and doesn’t fit the Hali Ultima even though this comes up when I searched “Road Angel Halo Ultima Hard wire type c” - wasted my time!
