Posi-Lock Connectors 18-24 gauge #600 Pack of 9

I don't usually leave reviews but I had to let others know about the quality of these posi-lock connectors. Very easy to twist on and apply to each side. Life-changing if you do a lot of wire splicing. These saved me on a small motorcycle indicator job where I was running out of wire to work with. Highly recommended!

They work as they should! Good quality.

Have used plenty of these finger tight posi lock and posi tap connectors for many years now. The nice thing is you literally don't need any tools to install your already stripped wires. They are finger tight connectors. Of course you have to strip the ends wires you want to use for the posi locks and posi taps. But after your wire ends are stripped, you just use your fingers to tighten the ends. You insert the wire through the end of the plastic posi lock/tap piece. And screw it on making sure the wire makes contact with the conductor on the inside. The posi locks essentially replace a conventional crimp style butt connector. An example you would use a posi lock is if you cut a wire, and need to extend it. Or, the application I use my posi locks for was cutting some wires on my motorcycle to wire in a turn signal bar after I removed the stock. And the posi taps are very handy for finding an accessory power wire to tap in to for power with the key on, and no power with the key off. I always keep some extra ones on hand in my tool bag on my motorcycle in case I find myself, or someone else in a jam with some wire trouble. These can be used with minimal tools to repair wire, or tap in to something else.

These are very easy to use. For getting a good physically strong connection I have had better success with these than with the crimp style barrel connectors. I used these to wire in some driving lights on my motorcycle. As with any connection like this, the real test is in how well it holds up over time. Since I just installed these a month ago, the jury is still out.

Posi-lock and posi-taps are the bomb. I've known about these for years and have used them in lieu of butt connectors since. I love them. They're easy to use and provide a low-resistance, tight, and durable connection. Chucking out 3m Scotch-loks and using these are worth it by themselves. All this gushing, so why only four stars? The price mostly. I think the prices for these are downright insane. They're also almost impossible to source locally. You can find them at NAPA from time to time, but anywhere else you might as well forget it. For a while, they were even hard to get from Amazon. I was ordering them straight from Posi. I'd also like to see larger quantities.

These connections are the best! They are very easy to install, make a great connection and are reusable. Wish I would have found these earlier! They are a little more money but well worth it! Highly recommended.

The Posi-Lock connectors were just a little bigger in size but extremly easy to work with, especially in tight spaces. No clumsy crimp tool required. End result actually looked better than OEM installation and are re-useable, should you need to go back.

These really came in handy doing a car stereo install. The more permanent wires I soldered like the stereo wires to the wiring harness, but for the vehicle wires like the steering wheel control I used these and they were awesome. I had very little space so even if I wanted to solder I couldn't. I have always hated those crimp connectors but they were a necessary evil until these came around! Strip the wire stick it through the cap and tighten the screw. It couldn't be more simple and be as secure! Love them!
