Angelika Bohn has crafted compelling stories for students learning German. Just be sure students read "Immer wieder Sascha" before they read the sequel "Nie wieder Merle."

This sequel to "Immer wieder Sascha" was a little more serious in tone. While there is still some good fun in this light novel, the body switching element is definitely more sober this time around. I still enjoyed Bohn's style and the use of characters and their development throughout. Some readers might find the relationship between Sascha and Merle a bit farfetched, but keep in mind that this is a sort of sci-fi romance. Not to spoil anything, the epilogue is also pretty cute. Even with all the silliness, I think the little book is well-written for it's genre and the German reading level is well-suited for those at the A2 mark.Since I started reading Angelika Bohn's books, I have noticed a significant growth in my vocabulary retention rate. My understanding of sentence structure has also noticeably improved. I love these books. I totally recommend Bohn's books and I found this one to be a nice addition to my little German library.Getting the paperbacks, if you can, is also a good choice so that you're not beholden to data or internet access.

I've been trying to learn German for years, and have taken courses, used apps, and done a deep dive into all the books out there to help me develop proficiency. Angelika Bonn's books have been a gamechanger for me. They are the only books that are interesting enough to keep my attention and, at the same time, written in a way that truly helps me learn. They are simple enough so that I don't get frustrated, but challenging enough so that I learn. And they are written in a way that ensures the new words and phrases presented actually stick in my memory. My only complaint is that there are not more of these available!

Angelika Bohn has talent as a writer and as someone who is conscious of how to write a good novela for language acquisition. There are helpful glossaries at the end of every chapter. This book will definitely strengthen your mental representation of the German language.

I enjoyed the book very much. It can be a little hard to keep all the characters straight. But the story was written at just my level of comprehension.

I loved the story and I have both the book and the audible version .I enjoyed reading and listening to it later.It helps a lot in memorizing the new words that you meet with in the story.It boosted my confidence as to my abilities to comprehend the German Language.The plot is fun and in some places hilarious.Thank you Angelika Bohn.

If you want to read and follow a funny and interesting story, this is the book to read in German - by the way, all by this author!

Finally... an author of easy reader stories that are interesting and also help improve your German and you don't even realise it's happening as you are wrapped up in the story. Good job.

Attention, ce livre est la suite d’un autre épisode intitulé « Immer wieder Sascha ». Donc mieux vaut commencer par cet autre épisode.J’ai choisi ce livre car j’ai le niveau entre A1 et A2 en allemand.La structure du livre est très bien faite, avec des mots-clés surlignés et expliqués en bas de page, ce qui fait qu’on peut très bien lire tout le livre sans dictionnaire (si on a envie).J’ai aussi été agréablement surpris par la qualité du scénario. Ce n’est pas une histoire bébête juste là pour faire lire des phrases en allemand, mais un vrai scénario de type „comédie“, avec des rebondissements plutôt imprévus.Donc, un très bon choix !

I've read a few of Angelika's books. This one is the sequel to Zimmer wieder Sascha. Book is easy to read and enjoyable. It demonstrates all of the important language, grammar and natural language usage for the A1/A2 level in an enjoyable story. You're learning without even knowing it.Highly recommend and I hope Angelika keeps writing books like this!

Immer wieder Sascha.の続編です。Saschaが気に入った方は、おそらく読む羽目になります。同じく場面転換が速いので飽きません。ストーリーとしては少々もやもやが残りますが、興味深く読めます。語彙・構文とも平易で初級文法を終えた段階に適していると思います。
