First time hunter so I’ve never used a box call (or any turkey call for that matter) but I was able to make chirps, clucks, and yelps almost immediately. The sound quality is really good and the craftsmanship is great too. I’m impressed with this box call and glad I bought it. Definitely recommend for any fellow turkey hunters.
